I have a rare condition and I’ve been seeing a lot of doctors at Huntsman’s Institute. I live out of the state and they’ve been helping me by making the distance treatment as easy as they can. I’ve been seeing Marshall Baker, Jessica McMullin, Heloisa Soares, Nicole Orgain, Luke Maese and others, also Catherine Levy from the genetic counseling that explained very clearly what my condition is and the directions of how to treat it. Everyone I’ve been having appointments with has been extremely knowledgeable and humane. I’ve already gotten a surgery in their facility and I only have good things to share about Huntsman. I’m very happy they’ve been taking care of me. I definitely feel safe in their hands. And another positive point to add, the building is marvelous, one of the most beautiful hospitals I’ve ever seen!

I’ve seen Dr. Douglas Sborov the past 5 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and the kindest doctor I’ve ever met. Actually every person that works at the Huntsman Center is so kind and caring. It doesn’t matter what department. From the lab, imaging, infusion center or doctor and their staff they are all “OUTSTANDING “

Dr. Drejet is just the best! She is so knowledgeable, patient, and caring...everything you would want in a Doctor. I have been seeing her for 4 years and she consistently has been tremendous. I would highly recommend her!

Everyone was great! From the front desk sign-in to the Nurse who did the weighing and blood pressure. Jill Waldron was so knowledgeable and able to answer our questions and tell us what to expect as the disease progresses. So helpful. I am so grateful that the cardiac ATTR clinic is there to care for us.

My old urologist retired. I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Christopher Dechet who immediately reviewed the previous doctors plan ahead and revised it in an aggressive way that, as of Monday, 17 March, has arrested my bladder cancer. To say the least, I think very, very highly of Dr. Dechet But, in general, Huntsman Cancer Clinic is an obvious step above any hospital I’ve ever been to. Not only are the facilities grade A, the behavior of the staff is obviously kind and competent. I feel very fortunate to have been accepted into Dr. Dechets practice

Dr Contreras and his staff are extremely competent, compassionate and knowledgeable. Everyone listens to your concerns and takes the time to answer all your questions. I want to especially call out Dr Contreras as he performed an extremely technical operation on me and I am recovering quickly. We live in Idaho, in the Boise area and there wasn't a single surgeon in the area that would see me, yet alone perform the surgery I required. From the first time I met Dr Contreras, he has been compassionate, positive and reassuring to me. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his team to anyone requiring thoracic surgery.

Dr Contreras and his entire staff that I have worked with have all been wonderful! He knew my hesitation with cadaver bones for my surgery and he changed to doing it with something else. The fact that he listened speaks volumes! His staff, even the ladies at reception are great!

The promptness of care, being treated as a human and not just another patient, I received a call the next day to explain the care plan. 2 days after my visit I received a call from genetic testing explaining what they do an when to expect results. My doctor seemed very knowledgeable and helped put my mind at ease. I would like to thank everyone at the Huntsman center for making my visit as painless as possible.
