Just came here to drop off a lithium ion battery with swelling. Other reviews scared me away from going here when someone claimed they were being attacked by workers.

It was basically just how they are in Japan a nice worker who handed me a paper to fill out and he took the battery it was fast and easy!

10/10 would go again.

I drop things off occassionally here, and always deal with guys. No issues. This morning, I encountered a woman who immediately came out giving orders. Idk why women are always like this in the workplace, but guys are always more chill and easier to deal with. They are always more pleasant. I wish women didn't act like this, but they do. I probably won't go here again. I really wish I could have dealt with a guy who was more chill, because the items I was dropping off were old cell phones, one of which belonged to my late son firefighter/emt, who passed away in the line of duty in 2007. I hung on to his old cell phone all these years, and decided it was finally time to let them go. So, I wish the woman who came out giving me orders would have had a more pleasant tone, especially given the circumstancces of my visit.

Sat. 3/23/24, I had the most horrible experience here. I had called the Household Hazardous Waste line for this particular facility on Lemon St. and spoke with a lady who called me back to tell me they do accept oxygen concentrators and confirmed where the facility was located as well as their hours. I went there and had a strange vibes when I was asked to pull forward to the stop. A tall hispanic man and this is not racist as I am hispanic, but for others, especially women to be cautious! They asked me what I needed. I told them I had some items to drop off a printer, batterie and oxygen machine. I opened my car side door and began looking for the batteries, but the tall hispanic man looked like he was going to open the back of my car. So, I went back there and opened it for him. He looked at the item and asked me what it was. I told him it's an oxygen concentrator and he took it out of the car. He proceded to be very rude to me and say, he didn't know what this was and that he wasn't sure if they accepted it. I assured him, I had called and spoke to their representative who spoke w/management and they had said, they do accept them. I didn't like his tone, his body language, him continuing to question who I had spoken with. He went in the building and came out on the phone. My intuition told me to get out of this place. I told the other man attendant there, I did not like how this other man was speaking to me and insuniating I was making up who I had spoken with. I closed the back door of my car and the hispanic man started yelling at me. At this point, I knew I had to get away from that man. I got in my front seat and he began to hold my car driver door open aggresively and I felt I was about to be assaulted. He said, I couldn't leave or leave this item. I told him, to let go of my door and to get away from me. He began wrestling with me and started to get closer to me. At this point, I had to push him away from me and my door. This was bordering physical assault by this attendant. My 12 year old son was in the car and visubly scared. I have no idea whats going on at this facility, but this is in no way, ok. Please be careful ladies when you go there. No one has the right to put their hands on your person or your vehicle and you have every right in any situation to leave if you feel in anyway uncomfortable or threatened. They seriously need some training at this facility on never placing hands oncustomer, or attempting to keep them from leaving in their own vehicle. In my opinion this man has no business working with the public and should be fired. I would put zero Stars, but unfortunately you must select one star, to leave a review. Also the second attendant didn't tell his fellow co-worker to get his hands off myself or my car. He also seemed very judgemental, instead of trying to deescalate the situation. I will not be coming back to this facility, regardless of it helping the planet, which is why anyone goes out of their way to discarica of waste here, instead of just jumbling in with regular trash.

Pulled in to the back where the stop sign is. I just stayed in my truck, one worker unloaded television sets and printers from the bed of my truck. I gave the other worker two containers of sharpies, one in a sharpie container, the other in a small cardboard box. He said the sharpies must be in a sharpie container, and he gave me one to put the rest of them in. Then he gave me an extra one for next time! I printed my name and address on a form and took off. Great service, I was out of there in about 3 minutes.
