Love it! This place is my absolute favorite library. My daughter said she would only change one thing, “if they could be open a little more”.They have a lot of great events as well. They just added a homeschooling room and the librarians are wonderful.

The library used to be a great place before covid hit. You could find quiet places to study, and it had a large collection of books. The librarians themselves were very helpful.
However, when covid hit, the management changed and so did the librarians. They became snarky and lazy, refusing to check out books at a pace faster than a snail. They would act aggressive and antagonize their customers. Once, an acquaintance of mine was yelled at for not listening to their policy. My acquaintance had gone there for many years, and all they wanted to do was check out their link plus. Not only did the librarian call over a manager, but the manager also started yelling at my acquaintance. I wish the librarians realized that their customers do not care about their policy when they simply want to check out books.

My children and I adore this library. Lots of space, great variety of books/genres, awesome staff. Events are fun here - always something to do. Great place to spend a couple hours on a Saturday.

Not my local library, but I still travel here to study because it’s beautiful (and way better than the Pinole Library). Wonderfully designed to be very open and have a lot of natural lighting. Lots of parking, a nice alcove where you can study outside, and state of the art technology (still waiting for WiFi printing though). There are regulars that visit and it’s nice to see everyone from senior citizens to moms and their babies. The librarians are always very kind and respectful to the homeless (something you don’t always see).
I wish the hours were better, but I understand that that decision is above them. And I wish they had more available outlets! Very limited access. I wish the librarians were a little more aggressive about handling noise complaints — they literally let people have full phone conversations in quiet spaces.

This library is da bomb! Brand new with an excellent huge kids section, complete with a spaceship play room. Super friendly and helpful librarians. Private study rooms. Outside area with tables to eat at. I really love this library. We live in Pinole and come here often.

Clean and orderly library. The librarians are nice especially in the children’s area. Always come here with my 4 kids.
I just hope people will keep their voices down and be more respectful to librarians and others who are trying to study.

We love our library. Clean and fun for the kids. The staff are sweet and helpful. First time back after they had closed for COVID19. Everyone in masks. We got a huge stack of books to make up for lost time.
