Convenient for SF Bay Area gamblers, only an hour drive away from San Francisco. Heavy smoke environment in the regular casino but has a non-smoking room for non-smokers except very limited variety of machines in this room. Has a good variety of slot machines in the regular casino. Many players commented the slots are pretty tight.

Graton is a nice casino. Very clean, nice help. What I have a problem with is the smoke. You walk in and you are overwhelmed by the smell of smoke. I have asthma so I have to wear a mask just to walk into the place. I know there is a smoke free area also. The casino also needs more drink servers. One for each area doesn't cut it. I was disappointed you got rid of the drink center where you could get a cup of soda or water.

The staff here doesn't seem very friendly. One of the times I went there I had been visiting my children and family for the holidays and rode the train from Sacramento so I had my back pack with me because the person who was giving me a ride home was going to meet me at the casino to pick me up from there and the security wanted to search through my back pack to see what was in it. I'm sorry but I didn't want my personal things taken out of my bag right there in the middle of where anyone could see. Which to me is embarrassing due to personal items I my have had in there so I didn't allow them to do so. And instead of me being able to spend money and gamble while I waited for my ride to come they made me wait outside with my back pack in the cold just because I wouldn't let them search it. This to me was absurd. Never have I been to another casino who wanted to search my back pack or made me leave. I could understand them wanting to do so if I had been doing something that raised any red flags or would have suggested that I was doing something illegal with the contents inside of it but that was not the case. I was clearly just gambling and hadn't ever opened my back pack even one time. I kept it on my back the whole time and as stated I never even touched the zipper to open it. If they don't want you having a back pack that your carrying on your back for whatever reason especially if you're traveling. Then maybe they should allow you to check it into a baggage claim type of system where even still I do not think they should be able to open it to view the contents. I'm not a criminal and I'm not on probation. And I'm sorry but this is just a casino and not an establishment of the law so what right should they have to search through my personal things? If they worry about weapons then put metal detectors at the doors and at that point shouldn't they be searching any and all bags or purses of any kind? I am not a huge fan of this place and will stick to spending my money on gambling and entertainment at better places like Thunder Valley, Hard Rock and the Jackson Rancheria Casino.

What a fun casino! It's beautiful inside, very clean and very well kept. Every interaction that I've had with staff whether on the casino floor or at a restaurant has been fantastic. They have a great variety of slot machines. I haven't hit the big one yet, fingers crossed, but I like that I've been able to win enough to keep playing and just have fun.

I went for my birthday with a couple of good friends of mine and I have to say I wish I had chosen to go somewhere else. There is wheelchair accessible parking, entry, bathrooms, and the layout is wheelchair friendly.
This casino is large and loosing it's attraction. As they say, "Beauty is only skin deep" proves to be true at this casino. Their machines are seriously lacking attraction , more importantly lacking action. I could actually have a conversation on the phone while inside this place because their machines were busy at taking money and not paying off. True that's gambling, but in six hours time we didn't hear any one hitting a bells and whistles pay off. It's not a wonder that their standards have reduced to water girls in cheap make do cocktail dressed water girls that closely resemble a different class of working girl. The ONLY reason I would ever return there is to dine at Tony's Restaurant inside the casino. It is magnificent and by far outshines what could be the nation's most boring casino. Anywhere, but at Graton Casino would be worth the drive. Not a way to spend on your birthday, that's for sure!

I find it funny reading upon reviews how kids are not allowed? First off, these people who complain with the air of the smoke, not able to take kids, seriously have no common sense.

It’s a hotel casino. Would you bring a kid to Las Vegas? I mean? Doesn’t take a genius to know that! And if you are a minor, of course you’re not supposed to be in a casino! Go to Reno where old people go if you are that unsatisfied.

Air of smoke. One? Wear a mask. Two? They have a non-smoking place you can go to for gambling.

Of course pay sucks every single time you get your hopes up with the slots. I see lots of alcoholics who are completely gone and wasted break machines. Kind of sad.

Overall? You’ll get good or bad staff. Many staff need training. But the others who do love their job because of being the best teacher and mentor to help out the others who do get hired, are the best! Mention their names and compliment them all!

So many within casinos show how much of a poor diva many are and cannot handle their own behaviors and will place their complaints on YouTube or on reviews like yelp. these are people who are just wanting the attention of narcissistic behavior and not be accountable to why they may have been told “No” by security.

You may run into not many good workers, and karma can fade them in being fired. It’s a business.

However, this place really is not bad. I don’t feel squeezed in at all. I move to another spot if smoke becomes overwhelming. It’s basically learning to move around when you need to.

It’s funny how people will be in the heat of their moment to post bad reviews. I honestly believe Graton is the best and they take care of those who do come in. It’s rare, but there’s lots of people who do care.

It’s like with any other job. There will be good or bad. Management will be aware, but you also have to consider your own behaviors in how you behave which could lead to consequences in getting yourself in trouble.

Point simple? I love this casino. It has its moment of good and bad, but when good does happen? It’s the best and forever a memory to remember.

Love the decor and amenities, especially the spa. However, it’s not a kid-friendly hotel, which is a bit of a downside. I wasn’t able to bring my daughter and had to leave her with a family member. It would be nice to have the whole family and friends enjoying the stay together, especially with a huge pool the kids would surely love!

Very disappointed in the lack of customer service over the phone when I am a high level rewards card member. Recently upgraded to one of their top tier players cards and called in to inquire about my features and benefits because it stated online I would have access to a Host VIP line as well other perks like cruises and so forth. Called the main line to get this info and the girl couldn’t even transfer me to a Host or provide the number. Basically informed me that I had to come in for information. Hard to factor that when I drive over 3hrs just to visit your location. Very disappointed and upset after all the money and time I’ve spent during my previous visit to be treated like that. In a very competitive industry such as this, you would think they would want to be more helpful.
