Went in for rgb connectivity issues on my fans, and I was told 3-4 days. Was notified day 3 that my PC case power supply was accidentally cut.

They informed me that I could have the exact same case ordered from a 3rd party or one from the store. I went in the store and opted for one they had on hand that they said was compatible. After a few days go by, I'm told my motherboard isn't actually compatible and that a replacement case would be ordered.

My initial 3-4 days turned into about 2.5 weeks. Although they were very apologetic and offered me a loaner that I had to purchase temporarily, it was still a very frustrating experience. I understand accidents happen, and what's done is done.

I signed up for a service contract with Geek Squad over a year ago and couldn't be happier. When I encountered issues with my computer and it was time to purchase a new computer Geek Squad helped me choose a computer that fit my needs perfectly. I like the fact that I can chat with them and I allow them to remote into my computer to fix issues. Saves me a lot of time and hassle. I have definitely gotten my moneys worth. Five stars all the way!

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this Geek Squad & Best Buy!
I wish I could give a 0 star. Technicians there make mistakes and break your devices and don’t give you a satisfying solution. They basically do whatever they want to do and don’t treat you as a valuable customer. I talked to the store manager for a solution and he asked me “have you ever not made any mistakes at work?” I just want to say the biggest mistake I’ve ever made is bringing my cellphone to you guys for service. So please. Do yourself a favor and go to other places for your electric devices!!

Worst customer service ever! First they want you to make an appointment to go to their store then you drive there for half an hour, after that all you got is another phone number to call. You call the phone number, and they tell you that they DO NOT REPAIR PHONES and they offer you a replacement with a refurbished phone but to do that you also need to pay another $149.99- other than your monthly payments. Finally when you call them to cancel your Geek Squad plan, they do not even ASK what was the problem or how they can improve their service, you just talk to a recorded voice and cancel it. I will Never ever purchase a geek squad plan again.

After purchasing a new laptop from Bestbuy the settings for I-tunes would not allow any of my Bluetooth systems to connect. I took it back to the Squad in the same location after exhausting all of my known options. I waited for a short while and a tech was ready to help me. I explained the issue and the tech played with the 30 minutes with my 30 day old laptop saying he had no idea as to why the Bluetooth would not work. He suggested that I purchase a service plan from $30-$279. I told him the laptop was new and must be a piece of shyt. He said that there would be more time to investigate the issue if I purchased a service plan. I was livid, having to spend another dime after having purchase a new laptop. The manager was summoned and suggested the service plan is a must to find the issue. $30, $179, or $279 I agreed to spending $30 and left my laptop for service. I was told they would need it over night to sort through the bevy of possible remedies. I left for home and after only 30 minutes received a call saying the issue was found. I feel they wanted to sale a service contract only. Be careful, their folks want to sell a service contract only. They knew the issue and allowed me to leave before they fixed it. There should be an understanding if the laptop is newly purchased to help the client solve BestBuy clients easily fixed issues. I don't mean to be cheap but I had just spent over $900 and the simple fix would have been good business. I will not recommend the squad. There are plenty of service companies that will provide a simple remedy. Only glad is settled for $30 worth of service help. BEWARE!!

The plan was to have a rear view camera installed. Luckily the install person verified that would not be possible before dismantling my dash. A refund was issued.

Horrible, i was told they would be here between 8-12, when they didn't show up at 12 they said they would be here before 4. I called at 4, they said they had no such service order, even thoughI had the confirmation email, then pretended to not be able to hear me speaking on the phone and hung up on me. Horrible!!

They have had to "re-do" my laptop three times to fix the charge port. I will never trust any Geek Squad again.
