The cops that work here are extremely rude. They were shouting at me and talking over me when I was trying to ask for help on where I needed to go for a civil case, and they were smirking and almost laughing at me when I needed clarification. I had never been in this building before and it was like pulling teeth trying to get exact directions from them on where to go. Then I told the bailiff for the civil cases that I was there as a character witness, but he ignored me and assumed that I was the dependent/respondent in the case and shoved me up to the podium in front of the judge. The judge was kind and apologetic when I explained I wasn't the respondent, but the bailiff continued to insist that I was. He never once apologized for his mistake. I was dumbfounded by the all-around unprofessional behavior here. Wish I could give them zero stars and I hope I never have to come back here for any reason.

Bailiffs could use some retraining. Not everyone entering the courthouse is a criminal fellas! Some of us are the victims. Not very well mannered down here. Sad!

Probate clerk will not, will not, will not file the paperwork that the Judge signed off on a month ago. Our attorney said this has never happened in his years working as an attorney. He said it's always a few days or a week at the most. This is a simple case. Kid turned 18 to get his money out of a court ordered cd at the bank. I guess she thinks she is above the law and a JUDGE! We are looking into what steps to take since she is not doing her job that she is hired to do.

The actual building is nice. It’s new, clean and wheelchair accessible. Completely modern. However, the people who work there are very unfriendly. I had to give someone a ride there and I hope to never have to return. .

Traffic clerk Angie is beyond wonderful! I was in a predicament And she decided to help me on her own! I'm beyond thankful and very appreciative, I couldn't thank her enough! Between our Sheriff's department and our courts you couldn't live in a better county. So this is my 2 thumbs up to miss Angie... THANK YOU!👍👍

It's ok the clerks are usually nice the cops are mostly nice there are a couple of jerky cops though. I guess they forget they work for us lol not sure what the jerky cop thinks when they are all rude but they are public servants and should act accordingly in my opinion. But it's a courthouse what you think it is like it is probably just like that.lol good luck...

I called the clerks office due to another county office being less than helpful. The clerks office was wonderful. Helpful. Went out of their way to assist me even when the other office did not. Elected offices should do an excellent job of customer service and I was very pleased with my interaction with the clerks office. Thank you !

So today Franklin county courthouse gave a ex boyfriend a restraining order against me and kicked me and my disabled daughter out of our own house and the ex boyfriends name isn't even on the title. My animals and all our belongings are in my house and there's nothing I can do about it cause he lied Franklin county is ridiculous
