Completed the credit requirements and finished my two years, but never received my diploma or my unofficial transcript. For the past two years, I’ve been sent on a goose chase of emails and phone calls
trying to get a hold of someone in admissions or graduation. I just want my diploma for the money I paid for and the two years of classes I went through. I’ve even contacted the dean and they did nothing. Now it’s holding me back from transferring to a four-year college so I can get my bachelors. I hope They see this and take action promptly, because at this point, I plan to drive to the university in person and get my diploma.

This school does not care about the learning of it’s students. They canceled my blackboard access right before the holidays while I was in the middle of two courses and it’s been a week and tech support has not called me back with a resolution. I’ve contacted them multiple times and I’m always given the same response. That the technician on the phone cannot help and it will be 24-48 business hours before I will hear back from them. They prevented me from studying for 2 weeks!

The worst. I have attended trainings at several colleges and universities, and my experience here at FTCC was the least professional of any college I have seen. The instructors at the medical campus are either the best or the worst, and the school administration often changes the instructor mid course. Classes would routinely start later than posted, or be filled with idle time as the instructor took class time to grade papers. Please look into furthering education just about anywhere else.

I was misled to sign up for classes to increase my grades to be “competitive” enough for a health science program they have. I did NOT approve these classes because it just didn’t make sense but they signed me up anyways. I decided to call the Health Sciences Director to see if what the admissions department said was true and was told it was NOT true. During this call I had gotten an email asking me to confirm said classes & I called them and told them I will not be taking these classes because I was told FALSE information. Well fast forward to a whole year later I am now being hackled by a debt collector for $200 from ftcc. What this college did almost feels illegal. Don’t worry though I’ll be fighting this. Thanks for nothing but a headache and false information! Y’all really care for the military community or just the money?

I went here for two years and gained my Associates. I loved almost lot the professors here. Some are strick, but there's always going to be those kind of instructor's. Remember to stay on track, be on time, and participate. Those may all sound the same, but they aren't. There is a student center for students to do tutoring, or you could even ask your teacher to set up an online collaborate session for you and the other student. Again, depends on teacher. About 90% of the teacher I met were great teachers, understanding, and patient. Transferring over to UNCFSU was easy to do.

I was in the collision program and graduated but while I was attending class I got some clear coat on my skin and had a reaction that sent me to Cape Fear Hospital. The instructor of the class took me and sat with me for a while. However, the school neglected to pay the hospital bills even though as a student you are covered under school insurance. I got left with a $3500 bill which is a little more than half of what it cost me to go there so my degree cost way more than everyone else’s. Three years later after graduating I am still paying for this. Not a happy graduate. I also felt as if I was in some prison like cells with a few classes. But I do understand that not the most quality of people attend there so I guess getting left with a $3500 bill is feasible. I’ll never go back. And I hope you don’t go either.

Sincerely,
One Upset (and now broke) Graduate

The building we were in was beautiful on the inside and was well maintained. The restroom was clean and fully stocked. We had a training and used one of the conference rooms. They had a very nice audio/video set up. Would recommend using it for future events.
