A nice small Library with a good selection of books and lots of sitting areas to enjoy. Workstations and computers to work at. Welcoming to visitors. In addition to books the library checks out adult puzzles and games for children. The children's section had a lot to play with in a reasonable selection of books plus some movies and audiobooks. Also in the library building is a small Art Museum which is worth stopping in to.

A great library with many modern amenities. They have an amazing children's section with toys you can check out with your library card and other activities for them in the library. They have CDs, DVDs, and audio books here. Even blurays! Lots of books and a very friendly staff.

When we are in the area, we love to visit the DC Library!! We do have a membership. Our little one adores the kid's activity with the puppets, audio books, and fun seating. It never has been too busy when we go.
Our bigger kids like the teen area with books to read & just chill. It is a nice, free option for a rainy day!

It's always a great experience at all of our door county libraries. The librarian I worked with today at Sturgeon Bay was so pleasant ant nice. She welcomed me with a big smile and when I couldn't find my hold, she flew into action and solved the problem!!

Very disappointing to see that the library is the same as when I was a child 20 years ago. If the “great” citizens of Sturgeon Bay want their kids to be more than direct labor at Starbucks or Fleet farm, please allocate the tax resources to having the library updated with technology. Southern Door apparently has $14 million in tax money for an athletic complex to help them lose more games, (which they should have applied for a Nike grant) that money could have been spent on actually helping these small communities have bright, young talent. Really sad to see the lack of improvements.

Horrible service! Stopped by here to print a Junior Ranger Book pdf for the Ice Age Trail as I am from out of town…. and the staff was so rude and completely unhelpful. I did not get it printed here as they had me call the Door County Information Center which was just as unhelpful! Went to a Walgreens instead.
If you want to waste time… this is the library for you.

Technology is offered online. Vast resources via web. The library is like a fire hydrant. You can drink as much or as little as you like. Can't beat the inventory of new titles in the system or on Hoopla. Lots of new books to browse. BTW there is a binging feature on Hoopla offering courses from Great Courses.

Online printing service if u don't need expensive HP cartridges. Just a few items for .25 each. Handy if u don't print much.

Portal to a rich reservoir of Wisconsin and national/international books, periodicals, newspapers and data bases. Best part is the staff. Friendly. Helpful and knowledgeable.

Enjoy the speed with which you can always put a new book on Hold (online) and pick it up quickly. Friends of the Library activities, esp book sales, help fund various needed items.

I'm very disappointed in the customer service received by one employee in particular. My family comes and and abides by the rules. However, it's only one employee that is rude to no means. Here comments make it extremely hard to enjoy searching for a book, movie, or enjoy use of the computers. She causes stress, anxiety and makes us dread approaching her.
If I return an item on that day, I expect it to be checked in. On that day. Just as they expect items returned by due date.
I've watched her kick people out that has come together if one is searching for items and others are using the computers.
Biased, opinionated and rude. If there was a closer library, I would avoid this one all together.
