I needed some help while shopping and Amy was so friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to help us find a few things and answers our questions.
We were making a large $200+ purchase and asked Amy if we could use self check out so we could stay out of the way of the other customers and not hold up the register. Amy was nice enough to open the self check out and assist us. At the end of our transaction we had a issue with entering our phone number for all the coupons we clipped off the Dollar General app and we needed another cashier to come help us. That's where the problem started. The other cashier Denise (or something similar) was rude mumbling about how she didn't want to come help us, she didn't have the time and that she didn't want us using the self check out. Her attitude was bad enough to upset my small child who at this point didn't even want the toys he picked out and just wanted to leave
I'd 100% give Amy and the store 5 stars but the interaction with the other cashier had us questioning if we'd ever go back.

I've always enjoyed shopping at Dollar General, (even when it was Bill's Dollar Store), but, can't remember ever writing a review. I don't know why! Since my comings and goings have become more limited, I'm so thankful for this hometown store and the employees that go above and beyond to assist us older, feeble folks! I shop 2 different Dollar generals in my area I like the dollar items, clearance items. I also like to buy anything else if I need it the prices are as high as Walmart but General is closer.

I couldn't get anyone on the phone after a lady rudely snapped at me and hung up before I could say anything else. This means if a customer has more than one question they will have to call back. Also, one of the employees working here called out to me where I could barely hear her In front of everyone. I may honestly never set foot in this store again.
I am normally the person to avoid confrontation but I think I should have been treated better.

Rude customer service. I don’t recommend going here at ALL. The family dollar down the road is MUCH better. I Walked right out of the store, the cashier refused to ring me up to buy something even with my face covered. You FAILED at customer service so now you get a bad review. Next time be more professional. I highly recommend NOT shopping here at this store. But to the cashier, maybe you’ll reflect about your actions.

Poor souls are under staffed usually. Which makes for a not so friendly customer relations. One of them posted a Biden sticker besides the cash register read out with the caption I did that. I'm thinking yeahhhhhhh no. But at least be happy you got a job. But due to this experience I'll be going to the Dollar store. Thanks DG!

This place was clean and organized. The prices were fair . The staff were kind and treated me good. I will revisit soon when needed. Other then the parking lot being filthy I had an overall good experience.

Called to make sure an item was in stock. Pulled up 5 minutes later it wasn't, told me they aint had any maybe in few days. Would not of stopped at all had they took time to make sure like they said they did.
