We recently purchased property and were looking for someone to design a home for us. Dale at Custom Home Design was referred to us and was able to work quickly to design the home of our dreams. Dale was able to work with us remotely and was very responsive to our the ideas we had for the plans. He made modifications as we discussed ideas with him. He was was easy to work with and explained ways to improve the plans or why for building code things had to be included. Dale provide a complete set of plans which include numerous 3D perspectives that showed outside and inside views of the house. Dale's design service was invaluable. He made our kitchen and bar area remodel ideas a reality. His ability to understand our needs and wants and create semantics and a pictorial view of our thoughts was outstanding. When he showed us these in a detailed, workable, 3-D format, all our questions about what was possible were answered. Our Builder referred us to Dale and we could not be happier!
He was prompt to respond, was helpful with suggestions and changes.
The final product was just what we were hoping for. He pricing is more than fair and his work is exceptional. I probably will not need to build another house, but if I was going to, Dale would be my first call.

My name is Aaron Mencer and I live in Knoxville, TN. My wife and I recently purchased an older home that we knew would be perfect for us with a few modifications. I had never used a home designer and had no idea of the cost involved. I figured it would be expensive, but I hoped it would be reasonable. I made a few phone calls to different designers and was extremely discouraged. The prices seemed crazy high to me. I was about to give up and just try to wing it myself and then I talked to Dale at Custom Home Design. He wasn't cheap(what is anymore) but he was what I considered to be very reasonable and affordable. Dale drew up what I needed in a timely manner and was a professional throughout the process. I could not be happier and I will certainly call on Dale if I have any future home design needs. I am old school and I just want someone who will be honest and fair with me. Dale is!!!!! Dale did a tremendous job on our designs for our new home. He has over 35 years of experience and he was able to guide us in the right direction on many aspects. The software he uses is superb and he also was very patient with us regarding some changes we needed. Highly, highly recommend!!
