This School has lots of potential. It's growing and getting better every year. I love our study hall time, our teachers, all the cool stuff we learn, my friends, and being able to eat lunch outside. Some of the things i think we could improve on would be; an atmosphere of joy, better communication skills, more fun activities or just random fun things to shake things up a bit and make school more interesting, going outside more, and making things more creative in general. Overall though I like the smallness-kinda close-knit feel of our school. It's a little bit of a fixerupper but I think it has a lot of room to grow and get better.

I attended this school for a little over two years. While the idea of the school is great, the way it was ran was very disorganized. There was a lack of communication between the administrators and students. There was also favoritism shown towards particular students (this could be shown in grades, passes, answering questions and even admittance to this school). The secretary was really sweet and did everything she could to help students. The principal would not change my schedule and told me I would not pass an AP Chemistry class so he refused change my schedule to this class during my junior year. I explained that I would put in the extra work since I hadn't taken calculus prior to the AP Chemistry class. He still refused and told me I had to take an AP Environmental class or an AP Biology class because without them my schedule wouldn't be hard enough. Keep in mind, my schedule already contained two AP classes and I passed the AP Biology test during the previous school year. My other classes were honor classes too. On this note, during 10th grade, I completed the extra work for a class to be considered honors Algebra 2 and then was told it wouldn't count. This was told to the group of students who already completed the work last year in August of the next school year. One benefit of this school is that they provide transportation but on this note, my cab came almost always late resulting in me missing at least one class a day. Sometimes the cabs would show up absurdly late after school too. When I told the principal I was going to transfer schools because of my schedule and cab, he called my mom and told her I wouldn't be able to attend any college better than a community college. He also insisted that I would fail AP Chemistry. I transfered anyway, got accepted to more colleges than just community college, and PASSED AP Chemistry during my junior year. I couldn't be happier now and haven't had any regrets about transferring. Make sure you know what you're signing up for before applying to this school. It's a good thought but is sloppy and not as professional as they try to make it seem.
