We will not be going to Cineplanet 16 again! The floors were gross and sticky for the first showing of the day (Sunday, April 6, 2025). Plus I had to buy tickets twice as I chose not to drive there during an active tornado warning yesterday! The owner said there was nothing he could do, which is a lie. I just asked for our tickets to be transferred, and tried to work it out after the first tornado siren yesterday but you literally cannot get in touch with a human there! I called and listened to their recorded spill more than once to make sure I was calling the right number they give at the end because every time i called it, I got the fax machine sound! And don't bother trying to submit a message on their website, because that kept glitching out too and telling me to answer the captcha thing even though I already had! I even heard one of the teenage employees talking about how the owner went off on him for trying to call in yesterday because his road was literally flooded out like half of atoka! A Tipton County man died due to being swept up by the flood waters our area has had with these storms! The man who owns/manages this theater is a ridiculous business owner with no sense of customer service, respect, or care for the well being of his employees (especially since most of them are minors)!

While I didn't have that many problems here, I do wanna mention a couple of things I did have a problem with. I do not think the lights dim that well. I got a seat unconventionally underneath a light. Fine by me, but the light wasn't as dimmed like the others. Also I do not know if it was Wicked or the projector, but the screen was pretty dim. Ive been to other screenings in this theater and their screens aren't dim like this one was. Last thing was the bathroom, I stepped in pee about 2 times while trying to do my business. I know all of this is not entirely your fault. But these are some things that hopefully will be fixed. Oh and ONE more thing, today they had a sign saying if you had a ticket just go ahead and walk on in. And in my opinion that's pretty dangerous because you do not know who could walk in.

I have tried support our local theater, but it is to dirty to keep coming. I dont buy the popcorn anymore because its stale. The bathrooms are disgusting! They dont look like they clean them at all, there is dust on everything, no lights working, the doors have layers of dirt and oil, and so on.

How about they charged 60 dollars for tickets and required me to accompany my 16 yr old son and his girlfriend to a capt America movie only to have it disturbed by a bunch of rowdy loud kids who were well under the of 17 and NOT having the required supervision per their own policy present then when I spoke to the manager they said AND I QUOTE!!! " I'm sorry we aren't allowed to give refunds or the managers name and number out because they aren't going to do anything about it" only reason I gave a single star is because it won't allow me to give negative stars... DO BETTER!!!! QUIT ROBBING PEOPLE

Theater was kinda dirty. Saw a 710 movie and couldnt get a refill because that's their last show time and they shut the cou ter down while people are still there and may need stuff. I dont think i'll be back.

We went to see Moana 2 and the movie messed up the whole time! We complained at the beginning but we really wanted to see if it would get better so we sat for a little bit longer ( like 5 min) after we complained. The movie was still glitching out and messing up so we complained again. We were told we can get our money back or wait for them to rewind and fix the movie. We got about 15 min later and still no one rewound it. Then it started messing up really bad. It was so loud it hurt everyone’s ears.
We got right to the part where one of the main characters got hurt and couldn’t watch anymore of it because it wasn’t fixing no one rewound it or even came in to check on us. We decided ( pretty much everyone left in the theater) as a group we went to get a refund. The owner told us we only had 2 min left and he wasn’t giving us a refund….. one of the other employees said we still had 30-40 min left ( of course we did because we just got to the part where it gets dramatic).

The owner then called the cops on us.
When the cops got there they said they there is nothing they can do unfortunately because it’s a civil situation. But he did say they have to go there more than they want to for situations like this.

We even asked if the owner could just rewind the movie and let us watch it or if he would let us come back in another day to watch it. It was a no go for the whole thing. The other three employees felt bad for us and wanted to help us but had no authority to do so.

Even when the cops got there the movie was still messed up. It was so loud you could hear it in the lobby and the owner refused to go turn it off.

All that to say this guy was a jerk and if you had principles I wouldn’t go there.

This theater gets worse & worse. It's dirty, there's trash literally piled up in seats in the theater we're in. Movie starts at 2, a sign taped to the doors says they won't unlock the doors until 1:45, but didn't actually until 1:48, so we stood in the cold. Can't buy concessions until after the movie starts, the 1 Employee who is here is only selling tickets, he hasn't even made popcorn. We're done. The convenience of going to the Movies in Atoka will only go so far, & then we'll just go to Bartlett where the bathrooms are clean, the popcorn is for sale & we don't have to move trash out of our seat b4 we sit... I've heard that the owner is awful to work for & I think that shows as the theater is clearly understaffed. Do better.

The movie was really good, sound system and all, concessions weren’t that bad although slightly overpriced, the carpet was fairly clean, and the staff was really nice to my family. Not many people come here for a decent movie showing like they used to back then, but then again, I can’t wait to go back for another movie in the future. 👍
