Just awful.
I went in for wisdom teeth removal and expiremental pain relief medication.

The person who called to confirm the time got the times wrong, and evidently didn't remind anyone else of the issue, so I arrived an hour and a half before everyone else.
I had to wait 5 HOURS for surgery because I was "scheduled last" (which was all they told me in person). I don't get this both because I was first, and because I was supposed to do it on a previous date. They could have finished the surgery before anyone else arrived here (according to how long the surgery was said to take). They said I was the last to have my paperwork done, but I feel like more so I was just waiting for people to come with paperwork (I was simply signing and handing back paperwork while they were still in the room so the process would be quicker, didn't work).

No communication. I kept hearing times they could do my surgery in about 5-15 minutes, only for another hour to pass and I hear the same thing.
It took 4.5 hours from the surgery for me to finally be given the experimental drug. I get the need to wait until I'm experiencing adequate pain to test it, but I was not adequately informed of this process before arriving for surgery (nor the time that would take.) I did read through all that pre-exam paperwork. (The pre exam was a separate day, and also took longer than expected, and though a lot of that was me looking through paperwork, just as much time was wasted sitting, waiting for staff, and not looking at that paperwork).

I had lots of bleeding for a while, which was an issue. Though there were many initial frustrations with that, ultimately all physical examinations were done professionally and went well, at least for me. I was mostly well taken care of and the staff was very nice and respectful, which is why I'm bumping my review up a star. There were some early comments by staff that made me think some of the nurses were newer in the field, but JBR cleared that up. Their staff is experienced.

In total, I was informed that the procedure would last about 12 hours. Their lack of communication and respect for time has point bumped this period up to 22 hours. Now I'll be discharged at 1:30 AM the next day instead of somewhere around 6-9 pm as I expected. I arrived here at 4:00 am.

This is why I can't leave a positive review. There is a clear lack of respect for your time. The people who are picking me up are now heavily inconvenienced (again, this operation was supposed to take at least 8 hours less from what was initially informed).
The lack of communication and provided understanding of parts of the operation before arriving shows just how much I can't trust JBR with what they tell me. Also, there seems to be a communication issue between staff from what was going on in my experience.
If you decide to go with JBR, I hope you have a much better experience than I did. I just can't recommend them or say what I'm getting paid was worth it. I'd advise looking elsewhere, especially since it seems there are reviews from people having similar issues as me.

I was part of a bunion surgery study at this clinic, and unfortunately, the experience did not turn out well for me. While the staff was incredibly kind and caring during my visits — which I genuinely appreciated — the surgery I received was not appropriate for the severity of my bunion. I later learned from a trusted podiatrist that this type of procedure should never have been used in my case. As a result, my condition worsened, and I eventually had to undergo a second, more invasive surgery to fix the damage.

I trusted the study process and was told I qualified, but it’s now clear that I should not have been approved for this type of treatment. I hope the clinic takes more care in evaluating candidates in the future so others don’t have to go through what I did.

I’m currently 2.5 weeks post op, I did the bunion pain study. I had a great experience overall and will be back to do the other foot. I stayed for 4 days & 3 nights & the whole time I was very well taken care of. The staff were so friendly & helpful. I was paid on time & although the check ups (before & after the actual study) took longer than expected time wise, I think it was totally worth it. Be informed & read through everything. Ask as all the questions you may have, they will answer them for you!

Great clinic highly recommend, the staff there is amazing in specific Nicki she was so attentive & very kind made sure I was comfortable & very well take care of! She was super friendly & I enjoyed talking to her!

I have been waiting for about 2 years to do this study. They told me 2 years ago they would get back to me and I have reapplied at least 6 times now and not one person has contacted me. They have poor follow ups. I know for a fact I qualify bc the first time I applied they told me I would qualify

You guys only called me once and said I did qualify so how did I all of the sudden not qualify? And I thought this was a study and there wasn’t requirements? The last dude asked me if I smoked and I told him no I don’t smoke or vape or drink I only tried my sisters vape bc she asked me to. So if that is what made me not wuali I should have been told that bc no one got back to me

While everyone I've interacted with here has been really nice, their communication is terrible. I've tried to enroll in a wisdom teeth study for over a year now but I keep getting disqualified, or contacted about a new study but they don't follow through before the study closes. I understand these sort of things can be hard to coordinate and the study requirements are specific. But I haven't been impressed with their patient care or customer service skills. Save yourself the time and energy and go somewhere else for your wisdom teeth surgery.

Enrolled two of our children in a CMV vaccine study. Staff and providers are kind, friendly, and seem happy to work there. Facility is generally nice and clean. Reason for 2-star review? Poor communication, and almost no sense of urgency/efficiency. Our first visit was scheduled on a Friday when the lab closed early. By the time the research staff had them ready for a blood draw, whoops lab was closed and we had to reschedule a separate visit just for the draw. Why did you schedule us knowing we wouldn't complete the visit in time to do the blood draw? Nobody told us Friday wasn't a good day for a visit. We live 30-45 min away, and kids have school. Not easy to go back and forth. Fast forward to the vaccine visit. Supposed to take 1.5 hrs, took 3.5+. I realize they have inpatient studies, but we were the only ones in the lobby when we got here. Don't tell us 1.5 knowing that is highly unlikely. We have done several studies at other companies that are far more efficient and respectful of your time.
