We had several quotes for solar, well I would say several schemes of leasing or renting solar from other companies that in my opinion are crooks. Josh was direct, specific and was only interested in ownership for us. Quote was fair, work was completed in two days and it was very easy to do business with. No sales people, no gimmicks, no 4% increase each year on a system I don't own. Please, save yourself tens of thousands of dollars and have Josh provide you a quote.

We can’t speak highly enough about Josh and his crew. They are complete professionals. Everything went extremely smooth from the beginning to the end. We’ve had our system for 10 months now. Our tru-up will be 0! Actually P.G.E will owe us. The true test of a company is how they treat you after they have your money. Our inverter just went out. I contacted Josh he got right back to me and ordered a replacement. In this day and age it’s not uncommon for solar companies to blow you off after they get your money. Or worse they go out of business then you are on your own. We can’t recommend Josh enough

A recent re-roofing project required that we utilize a solar company to remove and reinstall a pre-existing 20-panel solar system on our roof. Couldn't be happier with my choice. Josh was professional and responsive from our initial contact, through the entire process, and afterwards as well. Never had to wait for a response from him. He designed a system that meets our needs based on our past energy consumption and covers all of our consumption and then some. Exactly what I asked for when we spoke.

Out of all of the companies I was in contact with, Josh was the only one who actually spent time on my roof with a tool to measure our sunlight month by month throughout the year. Most others just sent me quotes using Google Earth images that were outdated and extremely inaccurate.

This is a big commitment and I did my homework and I am so glad that I found California Green Energy Construction. They are knowledgeable, dependable and give you the facts. Nothing shady about the process and they were upfront about everything I asked about without sugarcoating any of it. They are local and family owned which goes a long way in this industry.

The workers were always on time, polite and left it looking better than when they arrived. When I signed the contract, he provided an estimate for the install date and it was exactly what he said. He had all of the applications in before the job began and there were no delays in the approval process or getting connected to the grid.

I received weekly calls from my project manager Marci, who updated me on the progress of the permits and time frame for the install. I really could not have asked for a better experience and just wanted to share that for any others who are on the fence and thinking about it. DO IT!! Bye bye $400 monthly bills from PG+E. Good riddance.

We had the best experience with getting our solar installed. From start to finish Josh and team explained everything. They communicated each week with status updates. We now have had our solar for 9 months and saved so much money! The only regret is wishing we had done it sooner. I can’t recommend Green Engery Construction enough!
