I had the honor to be born in Boonville and grow up there. I will always treasure the experience of walking the streets, my education at Boonville schools and having life long friends from that time.

Awesome beautiful repurposed old warehouse. Beautifully redone original walls, floors with huge beams. The museum was very interesting with lots of local artifacts in a tribute to the River, Rails and Trail system of the area. Located right on the KATY Trail this is a must see if your in the area.

The old Depot has been refurbished and a caboose has been parked. The museum at 514 Spring is full of exhibits and historic artifacts relating to Boonville's rich history. Missouri River Steamboats, the Santa Fe trail, Kemper, the Boone family in central MO, the RR, the early forts and the war of 1812, Kit Carson, Lewis and Clark..

Very disappointing. When we arrived the lady at the desk didn't even acknowledge that we were even there.no hello or any kind of greeting at all.when asked if the toy train worked she said no the train is off the track .didn't try o fix it or anything. When leaving she didn't say anything to us and jjst kept playing on her laptop computer .didn't want to spend any more time in the town just disappointed at that point.back on the freeway.
