I had an excruciating time dealing with this office. I don't even know where to begin. They rescheduled an appointment I had without contacting me. On multiple occasions, after confirming insurance information with the front desk, my bills were a LOT more than discussed. The X-rays took forever and the person doing them scraped the hell out of my mouth. After I decided I would not be going here any longer, it took me MONTHS to pay my bill. I went to their office FOUR times to pay it, during their posted business hours, and arrived to a locked door. I tried calling. I left messages. The receptionist is unprofessional, unhelpful, and uncaring.
While I was still a patient I had a proposed treatment plan printed up so I could show it to my new dentist. I was told I had two cavities approaching root canal status that needed to be addressed ASAP and a third that wasn't as serious. I had my "cavities" examined today by another dentist. I don't even have cavities, let alone a need for any root canals. I just needed some sealant.
I have been anxious for months about these "root canals" I was probably going to need. Turns out this dentist is just a scam artist and I don't even have cavities.
Do not waste your time or money here. I know there are hardly any options in Humboldt, but this place isn't worth it.

Friendly staff, friendly dentist. they talk you through what they are doing. They show care in involving you with any dental decisions. Good pre-visit/reminder communication.

With this dentist, you are trading a toothache for a headache. The office staff are inept and unhelpful.

The front desk said "sounds like you need a root canal" after I mentioned tooth sensitivity. I had major anxiety after this until the dentist said nothing about needing a root canal. The person imaging my teeth was so bad at it that the dentist had to redo it, which is an unpleasant experience to begin with.

Regardless, it is difficult to get dental care here so l had made arrangements to increase my dental coverage and get work done with it before they stopped taking it. In November, I made these arrangements with the front desk staff who assured me I would be able to get my work done before they stopped taking my insurance. When I called to make the appointment the front desk informed me that they stopped taking my insurance already (January).Now I'm out double the cost in dental insurance. My whole experience with this office was unpleasant and unprofessional.

Unless you have no other option, this is a good place to avoid.

My insurance wasn't eligible but I was provided resources, Charis was so professional and led me to alternative choices. What a thing to be said about respectable business. Top notch.

None of the services we needed were satisfied and an unknown antibiotic prescription was given that ended up giving my wife a pull panel allergy that made her allergic even to herself, sounds like sci-fi but I assure it's real. And after 2 $400 "deep cleaning" to prepare for surgical extraction she was then sent away after dentist finally admitted she's not capable of doing the needed surgical extraction but definitely offered that 3rd deep cleaning... Caveat Emptor: we learned first hand please let our bad experience be a lesson for you and beware. Blessed day today to all.

Very kind and professional staff. They went out of their way to help me check on the status of my insurance payment. Very helpful! I got some fillings done here recently and they made it as comfortable as possible, always checking in to see if I was feeling any pain and walking me through what they were doing. I would definitely recommend this place

I am 74 years old and I have had many dentists. Dr. Bautista is the absolute best. Her dentistry work is superior and her ability to work efficiently is incredible. My smile has never looked better. Her staff is also outstanding. They always welcome me with warmth and sincerity. Thank you Dr. Bautista!

Dr. Bautista and her team are welcoming, kind and professional. I hadn't been able to get to the dentist for several years since the start of the pandemic. Dr. Bautista's office provided a great cleaning and helped me know how to improve my home dental hygiene. I look forward to going back for my next cleaning.
