If I could give NO STARS, I would. People that work inside of court houses are rarely ever nice, but HOLY MOLY... AUTAUGA COUNTY ALABAMA IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN. Today is 8/7, I got a speeding ticket headed to Florida back in May. The ticket is inside of the vehicle I was driving at the time and that vehicle along with everything in it - is no longer in my posession because my evil stepmother took it (long story). Also broke my collarbone and had to have surgery in the past few weeks. I tried to make a few calls but had no idea where I was when I got the ticket. I figured something would come in the mail. Oh, it did. I received a SUSPENSION of my DL notice, no mailings prior! Now I have to pay the ticket in full, plus a DL reinstatement free, or wait to fight it and go to court on 8/27 annddddd drive on a suspended license until then? How am I going to drive to court, my license is suspended. I have a new vehicle that I need to get registered and insured, a 15-year old who is scheduled to take a permit test, and this redneck COUNTY and your absurd money robbing processes are preventing all of this! How can this even be legal What about people's livliehoods How do you CLERKS go to work each day and just be outright rude and mean day in and day out You can't get anyone on the phone. When you do it's the wrong person. How are they allowed to intentianally set people up by not answering the phone, mailing notice, and being jerks and then charge MORE MONEY and suspend licenses! It just is NOT RIGHT! How is this not regulated? In this world, the last thing we need is more businesses and government agencies taking from us. I don't know how I'm going make noise about this but it's def not my first speeding ticket and in my history (at 38 years old) you get another court date!! And if you don't you call and if your situation warrants exception, they make a freakin exception!! WICKED!! JUST WICKED!! CLERKS - If you guys dont like your job, get a new one! And the county needs to figure out another way to make money that isn't screwing people over. I'm mind blown. I'll give my money to an attorney, not you.

They don’t deserve one star. They ran a completely illegal case involving my oldest daughter. Completely ignored the fact that her Dad’s widow kidnapped her from his funeral, didn’t comply with and was in contempt of her proceedings in GA. Come to find out this widow knew the Judge Joy Pace Booth who was even at their wedding and while we were going through court the widow was and is still living in Judge Booth’s parents house. My child was returned to me at her request because she was being neglected and abused. After 8 months they’re trying to force her to come back when the widow has been deemed unfit for her own niece and nephew by DHR, but feels entitled to my child. This corrupt system even failed to let me know that she had 2 fosters put into her care losing them because her and her lesbian girlfriend who chocked my daughter and hit her in the head with her ukulele failed drug tests. Now my daughter is terrified and suffering because they won’t leave her alone. I pray the Lord intervenes and serves them the justice necessary.

Got a speeding ticket in prattville and called everyday for 3 weeks before they answered. It’s just ridiculous that there are people that have legal questions about their situations and they won’t even give them the time of day. When they finally did answer the lady told me I could do online driving school. I completed the course and submitted my certificate for them to approve or deny. It took them another 5 months to call me back and tell me that they in fact do not accept online driving school and I would have to do in person class. This was after I had paid a 50 dollar course fee for the online class. Bunch of rednecks that need to go work at McDonald’s.

I have no experience or knowledge regarding the task I was undertaking & thought only an attorney could get the information I needed but because of Kaitlyn in the Property Tax Division, I found out exactly what I needed to know. She was so kind, helpful & respectful. Thank you Kaitlyn for making an unpleasant situation as good as it could get today. Kaitlyn is definitely an asset to the Autauga County Court system.

my husband called today and talked to Theresa.He called to give her some information and she tells him she doesn't care what he has and it will not help with our situation, he told her she was being rude! and she tells him well I'm busy!I'm sure her supervisor would not be happy to hear how she talks to those that call.she better be glad it wasn't me that called,u would've been rude right back to her!!!

I spoke to someone in the Revenue Department. I'm not even sure if that was the correct Department to address my question, however she very politely answered my question for me. Very nice and knowledgeable. It took less than 4 minutes from dialing to finish.

RUDE!!!! The person that answers the phone on line 1 for the tickets is so RUDE!!!!!!! I called to try to get her to explain something to me and EVERYTIME I called she was always so RUDE!!! I hope they replace her cause she is no help!!!

Some are extremely rude you can never get a straight answer from anyone. Just cause someone trip's in the slick staris does not mean they are drunk
