Came to install a new HAVA system on January 24, 2023. Two men went on rooftop and another came into the house. The two on the rooftop dropped tools in the pool and silver duct tape. Didn’t bother to get out or notify me it happen so they could be removed before causing damage to pool vacuum. Further, the indoor man left a big mess after asking me for the broom to clean it up. When I brought it to his attention, all he could say was he was sorry. Furthermore, while i was in the front bedroom cleaning, he used my bathroom without asking and didn’t clean his hands. Also, because the owner of the house worked for the company too, the inside worker brought him into the house after he was done without knocking on the door or ringing the bell to show him the finished job . I reported all this to the owner and he said they were supposed to clean up and pick up everything before leaving and NEVER use a customers restroom.. In addition, The inside guy also lied that he cleaned and enlarged the duct in the livingroom to allow more air in there to flow. Beware of their unprofessional work ethics.

I thought American was going to be my knight and shining armor back in July when I was home with my newborn, two toddlers, and two dogs and our AC started blowing hot air. This company was the only one I could find to send someone out on a Sunday evening. I was so appreciative and frankly just desperate to get some cool air going for my kids. This company completely took advantage of my desperation. Not only did they falsify the work order to make it seem like they were here for almost 2 hours when they were here for about 15-20 mins but they did absolutely nothing to fix our AC. The tech told me that it was just too hot outside for the AC to work efficiently during the heat of the day. I figured he was the expert so I took his word for it. A month later and our home temperature had hit almost 90 degrees most days and we finally had to pay another company to come out and find the problem and fix it, so there was a problem with our AC that American did not find. I now have an almost $200 bill with American and have reached out to ask for some relief given they didn’t do anything to fix the problem and weren’t even here for half of the time they charged us for. I have proof of the timeframe that they were here at our home but they are unwilling to work with us. This was the first and last time I will use American. Be careful or they will take advantage of you too.

I am selling my house and the buyers had this company do the HVAC inspection. Old system so I knew that there would be issues. The buyers wanted me to pay for the cost of the repair...COOL! I went back to this company and asked for an estimate of repair. First the estimator tried to change one of the items the inspector said "can be repaired' to "replace" without even looking at the issue. Second, he only guestimated what needed to be replaced....hence he gave me an outrageous repair cost. I went back to the buyers and they found someone else that cost less then half of what this company gave me. Hence, THIS COMPANY WILL BILK THEIR CUSTOMERS OUT OF MONEY IF GIVEN A CHANCE!!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!

Great service but the supervisor for plumbing Carlos has to go! Dave Todd should really consider who he’s managing he’s workers! It’s all about SAFETY! very disrespectful. Carlos America doesn’t have insurances for you to drive you’re family around in company Vehicle during or after work hours not have American pay them to work on you’re house and pay them out of American payroll! Dave Todd do you’re research on who you have sitting behind that desk! There’s evidence!!! But other than that keep up the good work
