I've done a few different studies both here and at other facilities, and this place is awesome. I'm what you call a 'hard stick" sometimes and all of the research assistants have a great bedside manor and treat me with great patience. They go above and beyond with their patient care and do their jobs very professionally.

Have done many t1 diabetes studies over multiple years. Everybody from the receptionist to staff and doctors are great.

Only complaint is that I wish it were closer to San Diego, but the drive to Escondido isn’t too bad.

Been doing research studies for about a year now and the staff is amazing! Very friendly and take great care of you while you are with them. Also always prompt on getting back to you with any questions or concerns.

You can’t get ahold of them. I’ve been waiting on a pump and my phone calls and portal messages go unanswered and they will not fax my supplier back the proper Rx info. This should be an ethics issue. I have to physically show up to their office to get any thing done. Very poor quality.

Still waiting, no response from calls and portal messages. The insulin pump associate couldn’t get them to respond either. They said this is normal for this facility and she had to go and physically show up at the office to get my Rx but the doctor wasn’t in and wasn’t able to sign it. She is still waiting for it to be faxed. I’ve been having some bad lows lately and really wish I could have this Pump by now. If you get a choice for referrals please run from this office. You will not get the treatment you need.

4 appointments, a different PA every time, never a doctor, phones calls don't even go to voice mail just ring forever, prescriptions never make it to pharmacy, a failure at every single step, except taking my money. Thank God my primary gets me my scripts.
