At orientation on 7/29 for my freshman. Horrible time management. Orientation started 1 hr late. Unacceptable to have those of us here early sitting in this cold Auditorium. We shouldn't have to be inconvenienced by ill responsible parents. Please do better. I drove 10 hrs to be here on time

The managers up there are joke the big manager up there named Jayson Taylor likes to fire people on a personal note not business note there is no master electricians. There is no journeyman electrician on their site. I do not know how they’re still running that thing I believe in their contract, they had to have a master. electrician, plumber state of Alabama needs to go look at them.

A&M is my favorite go-to post office. I enjoy the friendliness of the ladies who help mail my boxes, weigh my mail or give prices for certain kinds of special requests. They know their jobs extremely well and are professional, friendly and amazingly helpful. I get to see students going and coming to class. Wholesome academic campus and having a unique post office accessible to students and non-students like me. Love this post office. Small but a one-of-a-kind in Huntsville.

I have had the pleasure of working with Austin and MJ Harris while they have been constructing this building I usually come down about once a month and the progress that these guys make is phenomenal and they are always easy to work with.

My experience at this college has been nothing short of disappointing. The facilities are in dire need of maintenance, with rundown buildings, broken windows in the dorms, and a conspicuous lack of air conditioning. The janitorial services are sorely lacking, leaving common areas perpetually dirty.

Washing clothes is an ordeal, given that the washers and dryers seem to be perpetually out of order every semester. Navigating the campus is a constant struggle due to ongoing road construction, forcing detours that make getting to class a frustrating endeavor. The teaching staff is a mixed bag, with a notable number of educators who seem indifferent to students' education, further exacerbated by biased behavior and an apparent lack of support from faculty members.

Two specific instances highlight the systemic issues at this institution. Miss Smith, despite numerous complaints, remains employed, and her conduct reflects poorly on the school's commitment to addressing legitimate concerns especially with her being head of disability. Additionally, Miss Miller's unfair practices in housing matters and fines contribute to an atmosphere of injustice.

The school's response to serious incidents, such as threats, violence, and suicides among students, is shockingly inadequate. The lack of action speaks volumes about the institution's priorities and its failure to prioritize the well-being of its student body.

Attempting to address concerns by involving the school's board is an exercise in futility. Rather than resolving issues, the board redirects complaints back to the problematic teachers, demonstrating a lack of accountability and a failure to address underlying problems.

Even the basics, like the campus cafeteria, are mismanaged, leaving students rushing through meals due to overcrowding. The dysfunction extends to financial aid, with scholarship funds seemingly lost in a bureaucratic maze, adding to the frustration and disillusionment.

In conclusion, this college falls far short of providing a conducive and supportive learning environment. The combination of neglectful facilities, indifferent staff, and a lackluster response to serious issues makes it a regrettable choice for any aspiring student especially considering the amount of money it takes to attend here with housing. Would never recommend this school to anyone that values, anything other than partying and hanging out all the time.

Good luck with admissions, they are zero help. If you are a go-getter this campus will test your abilities trust me. The forestry department is amazing and operate as a close nit community but getting classes scheduled/moved around is the biggest set back. Seriously… be on your P’s and Q’s when it comes to getting your classes situated, no one on staff will go any distance to help you or even lead you In the right direction. The most common phrase I heard from staff while I attended here was “sorry, that’s not in my department”

The mechanical engineering department is understaffed but has really good professors. The problem is the administration and freshman counseling.

Registering for each academic year, or even just going from fall to spring, is a nightmare. Emails are basically useless. You'll either get no response or an auto email saying it's the wrong department. (You will never know which os the right one, btw, it's all very vague). When you send an email, expect a 2-week minimum wait. The fastest I've ever been responded to was 5 days, followed by radio silence for a month. They only respond via phone on their digital que. No other form of contact will work. Not even in person.

Meanwhile, while you're a freshman, they have. Mandatory consulting where they set up your first 2 semesters of classes. DO. NOT. FOLLOW THEM. It's not real counseling. It's based on perquisites in your GE not your major additionly they do not take into accounts credit hours nor future prerequisites, which can cause you to often waste your first your first year on classes that don't help your major. They tell you what you should register for, but you don't have to follow them. Find a professor for your major and ask them what to do. It will help you graduate on time.

If you want a smooth college experience where your only focus is your class, DON'T GO HERE. you'll either drop out due to their incompetence or endure for 4+ years.
