I was happy that this research study was recommended to me in conjunction with my up coming colonoscopy. They only needed a few vials of blood and paid me $75 for participating. The only downside is that they will not let you know their findings. So if they did find markers for colon cancer they wouldn’t tell me. But other than that the medical assistant Jade was great and very thorough in her explanations.

The Advanced Research Institute was proactive and accommodating. The process was easy and Taylor, the lab technician, had a positive, comforting demeanor. I felt good about participating in hopes that their findings can further more non-intrusive medical procedures in the future. No complaints here.

They told me that giving my blood sample the day before my colonoscopy would be fine… including hydrating. However, it wasn’t fine… and it forced my colonoscopy to be bumped a day, at an inconvenience. They definitely weren’t on the same page as the colonoscopy group.

I was asked to participate in a clinical research study for colon cancer. The staff was friendly and it did not take long. All I needed to do was a few vials of blood. Was given a visa gift card for participating. Would recommend them for THIS study.

Did a study tied to my colonoscopy, and it required only 1 visit (other than the already needed/scheduled colonoscopy) and they drew blood. Easiest study, and looking at signing up for a heartburn one to!
