I went in to have a mammogram and a bone density scan and I was in and out of that place in about 45 mins and that was including filling out the paperwork. The women who work there are friendly, they weren't smiling nor did they greet me as I walked in the door. I'm not complaining about it as I'm sure it seems I am. It's just unusual to walk in somwhere like that and see 3 women behind the front counter and not be greeted by at least one of them but, they were in no way rude to me and I will recommend them in the future.

Terrible experience! I was scheduled for an ultrasound for an issue that was discovered by my ob/gyn. AFTER I filled out all of the paperwork, I was told that they don’t accept my insurance and that I’ll have to pay out of pocket. This should have all been verified before the appointment instead of wasting my time! Very disappointed!!

They called me the day before my appointment. I answered and I could not hear anyone. I have bad signal at home. I tried calling back and could not reach anyone. I honestly thought it was a appointment reminder.

So, today I had a 6 months check up on an abnormality. I get in there and they said I could not be seen because insurance had go not paid. I needed to call billing. I called billing and I told the insurance had been contacted the week before. They wanted a reference number and name. I did not have it. I said I will call them and get it. I said can I still be seen. They said if I had a reference number and name. So, I got it and I called back. I gave them what they wanted. They literally would not let me be seen today. I have sat in the parking lot getting this fixed. I realize that this is an insurance thing. I did my part a week before. I provided the ref number and name. They acted like I lied and said we have to make phone calls and we will get back to you. So, I need this test. So, I get it this company promotes help prevent breast cancer but denied me to be seen. I provided what they wanted. As soon as I cam transfer from this facility, I hope I do not have to return. I don't like being lied to.
Go somewhere else. Go to rmc, pell city. Even bham. People should not be treated like this.

Update- they literally called my sister questioning her about me having phone issues and said someone will call me about an appointment.
I will update and provide pics of texts of previous msg with family and friends saying my phone isn't working. I'm not sure why my phone issue is a problem when I gave them what they asked for.

Visited this place 5/17/2024 everything was fine and to have a friend come with me to assist to get on the table because of my back and she has assisted me alot. The larger woman at the front was so rude and would not let her come to the back after MRI to assist me to get up of table. The tech even asked me if it was ok if someone else touched me cause I have APP …. And because of this it gave me a panic attack along with being pain. They need to listen to their patients and their concerns and needs

I hate to read the bad comments about Advanced Imaging..I have been here many times for different test and always had great service. Maybe if the patient smiled and was nice they would get smiles back. Working with the public is such a trying job...everyone should do it at least once. Maybe the person before you was really horrible...I know you try to serve your best to people but some are very trying...

An MRI tech failed to assist a patient with a much-needed MRI and cancelled their appointment with them on the table. It caused us to have to reschedule with UAB, Birmingham for the next day since the PA was expiring that weekend. It took two hours to get all info correctly transferred and to find an appointment at such a busy hospital.

Ive used Adv Imaging many times personally but this incident created a lot of stress and additional time and expense. All patients should be treated with extra kindness and courtesy. Patients are usually there for serious and painful reasons.
