Instructors are extremely experienced and understand how to teach both beginners and experienced shooters well. All drills taught were beneficial and easy to learn to train at home. Strongly recommend AFI to all shooters!

What an incredible experience!!! I took the Adaptive Concealed Applications course and it was superb. Ryan, the owner, and Larry made the class informative, engaging, dynamic, and sheer fun. I learned a lot. The class was fast-paced yet the instructors made sure that every participant had ample time to understand techniques and practice. I was happy to be able to ask questions and received very detailed answers. Everything made a sense and I came out of the class not with just new knowledge, but also with a renewed enthusiasm to practice newly acquired skills and continue training. I am planning to take more classes at Adaptive Firearms Institute and definitely recommend their curriculum to anybody who is looking to improve their firearms skills and learn new things!

Fantastic experience overall. The owner, Ryan, put together a customized lesson plan for my team and tailored it to our needs for a tactical CCW training. He made the process so easy and answered all questions that I had (There were a lot!) during the planning process. Ryan is professional, friendly, patient and an expert at what he does. Whether you are new to handling a firearm to an experienced operator--you will learn a lot from taking a training course with him. The additional instructors on-hand, Jay & Jeff, were also phenomenal. Truly, I cannot say enough good things about Ryan, his team and Adaptive Firearms Institute. Support a veteran owned and operated company and take a course!

Great class from a great instructor. I have taken many classes in both long guns and pistol from both military and private contractor instructors and Ryan's classes from Adaptive Firearms Institute are really good. Today's class was pure content, with tons of real-world application and heavy focus on fundamentals. Ryan doesn't need to check his ego at the door, but that's exactly where he leaves it. He's an excellent communicator and very approachable. These guys are teaching state of the art, constantly updated, practical application techniques and they do it in a fun and effective manner. I strongly recommend you check any of their classes - from AR to AK to pistol. This is great firearms training in Tucson, go have some fun and learn from one of the best

Great teachers, great course, great experience.

Took the Adaptive Pistol 1 course today. Course was well structured, meticulously thought-out, and Ryan and crew are fantastic instructors.

Anyone considering owning a firearm NEEDS formal training and this course is absolutely perfect. You will learn firearm fundamentals, weapons operation and nomenclature, and will receive excellent instruction.

The class was small (only 10 students) and Ryan and his instructors were always at your side helping you throughout.

If you can spend the money for a firearm, you can afford to take this course and learn the right way to handle it.

The beginner pistol class was amazing. Ryan, Vern, and Larry are fantastic instructors. I have always been terrified of loaded weapons and shooting. They were patient with my nerves and walked me through every drill personally and I am now comfortable with my gun and shooting. Looking forward to taking another class with my son next time. Highly recommend this company!! Thanks guys, going shooting with my son next weekend to practice all that I learned.

This place is Great!!
Being a new weapon owner, I wanted to get training and assistance in feeling comfortable with handling my weapon. I attended the Pistol 1 training class. I initially had so many hesitations and fears. But after speaking with Ryan he was very reassuring and answered all of my questions and I decided to give it a try. I am so grateful and happy that I did. Ryan and his staff are very knowledgeable, professional, thorough and most importantly they made me feel safe and comfortable from start to finish. I learned so much from this class and I now feel so much more confident handling my weapon.
