I have had contact with Actalent on and off for a few years. To be fair, I sort of fell along the outer lines of the type of work that Actalent specializes in, so it was borderline on whether any of the jobs were a good match. But they represented me for the job I just recently accepted, and I am very happy with both Actalent, and the new job. I would not have found this opportunity without them, and they represented me to the company very well, and the company to me. Thank you very much to Jamie and Anthony!

This company basically harasses you as a job seeker. I've told them several times I will not work with or for them, but that doesn't stop them from trying to contact me anyway and obfuscate who they actually work for.

I've had recruiters from here outright lie to me saying we'd spoken previously, hoping to get my phone number by pretending I already gave it to her. When confronted about that being an impossibility, she refused to acknowledge it. She "apologizes for my experience" when she's responsible for it. She completely failed to apologize for her own behavior while trying to apologize for the actions of others.

This place is relentless, unethical and unscrupulous in their attempts to get you to contract for a job you could personally apply to yourself and take any measures to get your personal contact info so they can abuse it. When lying is on the menu with a company, it's acceptable, I'm going somewhere else because the market is saturated with other options. Maybe they're nice to their recruiters, but they don't treat job seekers with any degree of respect or transparency and they're very comfortable lying to you to get what they want from you and won't even acknowledge being caught red-handed.

They sent my boyfriend through THE MOST.! They did the normal background check and everything for him and he started his job. After a week of him working with them at a job that they assigned him they started to ask him to verify everything he already put in. So he was doing everything they asked and was working for 4 weeks straight with the job they assigned him. After 4 weeks they asked about his background check AGAIN.! After 4 weeks of him working already they had to do this AGAIN.!!!! So after he did it again they came back and told him that he will be terminated because the job they set him up with has a no background policy. So you’re telling me due to ACTALENT negligence he was working a job where he went through the process and was accepted and now out of thin air terminated because they didn’t do their job by making sure the job they set him up with took his background.? So not only did they do that and told him well we’re sorry 🤷🏾‍♀️ my boss is upset about it. Like f your boss.!!!!!! We don’t care about your effing boss..!!! You just terminated a hard worker and due to ACTALENT negligence he is out of a job when the economy is not great for anyone right now and also they had the nerve to ask him how did he want his last check IN EMAIL and he told them direct deposit. It’s 3 days after he was supposed to get paid and he has been calling them and they don’t pick up for him at all.! They only email him now which is funny because the quickest way to get something like this resolved is BY PHONE.! NOT BY EMAIL and they take their time to email back which shows their true colors. This is a very disgusting temp service and told him his check is in the mail and to expect it in 5 to 10 business days because of Missouri final hours law is what she said in email. But he didn’t quit or resign 🤔 So now after they terminated him he hasn’t been paid IN TWO WEEKS.!!!!!! In the email they asked him how did he want to get paid and he told them to continue his direct deposit.!!!!! But SOMEHOW he gets an email from one of the recruiters saying that she checked again today and they sent it through the mail.!!!!! When that was not his request at all.!!! WHY EVEN ASK.!!! No one has time to be missing any money.!!! No one works for free so of course they want the money they worked for ASAP.!!! WHICH IS MISSOURI LAW SWEETIE.! But somehow they are having miscommunication again and sent his check the wrong way now he has to wait two weeks for his money like people don’t have bills.! You already did him wrong per the termination but then you add on to the insult by delaying his paycheck. He got fired due to ACTALENT NEGLIGENCE.! Now he is out of a job because of them not doing their job in the first place.! Disgusting people.! I wouldn’t dare work for you imbeciles.! They have no regard for working people and could care less about them.! Horrible company.! Even after all of this he was still respectful and nice but they are completely wrong and we will be filing a complaint on them.

This is my first Job and it was a great experience working with Actalent. My Recruiter was Jack Cromley and he is a very nice guy. He double checks everything in order to run the process smoothly and clarifies any doubts you may have during the process which makes it a lot easier. I got a job which is temporary to hire position through them and really liked the job and wanted to go to permanent and sometimes I get stressed out thinking about this. Jack really cares about the people he works with and he reassured me that it will go to permanent and if it not we will find a job which best aligns with my interest. And finally my Job became full-time. Thanks to Jack who is very helpful, kind, responsive and supportive through the whole process. I would have rated him more but there's only five star option.

Working for Actalent has been really great experience. Mimi and her staffing team helped me find a job when I didn't have one. Checking with me ever so often at first. Then when I got the job Amber every month has check on me and my progress with Ameren giving me feedback. There are amazing people in Actalent and that why I giving Actalent a 5 out of 5 stars.
