This last weekend I was very fortunate to be part of an event hosted by Hub101. I joined the event not knowing what to expect but I was profoundly moved by the concept, energy and the end goal for the event. I have many years under my belt developing products, building platforms but I have never been through an event which allowed us to work as cohesive teams and achieve the impossible!! I am extremely thankful to Kristin Bell, Matthew Donnelley and Michael Panesis at CLU for inviting me and allow me to be part of this life changing event and I will be more than happy to support any future events.

Hub101 is a place that literally anything can happen at. A robot walking around that someone is programming? Just another day at the hub. A 3d printer that anyone can use? The hub has that too.

Hackathons? Heck yes! The global game jam was amazing. The team I was on made a game that for the time allotted was good. I am looking forward to this months hackathon and the one in June. If you are interested in programming, entrepreneurship, engineering, or need a study area this is the place for you. You might be stuck on advanced math and staring at the book for hours. I might walk by and spout off the answer when I glance at your book for a second, since your advanced math is similar in many respects to code, at least to me. Anyways, this is certainly a place I highly recommend.

This is part of CalLu. This is a an incubator for new startup companies. There are monthly talks mostly about entrepreneurship. There are several successful companies that have come out of this space.
