Do Not buy from Pottery Barn. Its a shady and fraudulent business. I purchased the leather carmel lounge double chaise counch during black Friday sales. The order was cancelled 12 days later without any explanation while it was still being sold online just at a higher price. Called the customer service, complained to the supervisor and they honored me the price and placed the order with email confirmation. It is cancelled again with no explanation after 13 days. Will never purchase from this company ever again!

The famous artisan furniture store is nicely situated in this mall. With its typical decore motif and displays, it is nice to visit and get some inspiration for your home or out door setting. Not all pottery barns are created equal.

Mark the store manager refused to return or exchange our recently purchased golden utensils such as forks, etc., that faded and became non-golden but silver. When we bought them less then a year ago, the salesperson assured us that they are dishwasher safe. We trusted her and never thought of reading the instructions that said no dishwasher use. Anyway , who reads utensils instructions?

Mark the manager won’t even hear us out and was rude. No wonder why they have low Google and Yelp reviews! Awful customer service

Mark the manager refused to send someone to my home for a design consultation. I decided not to purchase from them and buy from West Elm. They lost a large purchase, I had an empty apartment that I was planning to furnish plus all the bedding for a king size bed. He insisted that i go to the store and speak with them. I needed assistance with how and what to purchase for my new place. I’m very disappointed in your pottery barn

A great collection of the latest and greatest interior styles. The prices are steep but you get the best.

Better off purchasing online than in store. In store customer service is horrible. We purchased 9 pillows and inserts, however the sales associate made an honest mistake and gave us a wrong size insert which we didn’t notice until we opened everything at home. We live over 45 minutes from the nearest pottery barn and the manager explained we would have to drive all the way down to swap it out. Or we can pay $20 and shipping over the phone for a new one. They can’t send us a shipping label, a free insert, or offer anything for there mistake.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I am so disappointed in the level of service from this specific location I feel it is important for to share. I called the UTC store today to check the status on an order I made a month or two ago. The gentleman I spoke with informed me it was delayed and it was on back order. I was never notified and had I not called I wouldn’t have even known. I was frustrated because we specifically picked this item based on the availability. What was equally frustrating was that we were working with a designer and thought someone would notify us if there is a delay. When I voiced this to the gentleman, he said, that they don’t do that and it would have to be from “corporate”. As a Pottery Barn customer…I expected an email or something and blaming “corporate” to me is just a failure in service. You represent the company and as a customer it doesn’t matter to me who should contact us but someone should. He seemed frustrated and had a total lack of empathy. It’s sad because I went to the “brick and mortar” store because we wanted to work with the designers and have a more personal level of service than ordering online.

Things only got worse from here. This associate put me on hold and when the next person picked up they had no idea what was going on. It seemed like this guy just passed the buck. Then the second person put me on hold again and a third person came in the phone.

A women who apparently is a manager came on the phone. She was honestly no better and it’s clear to me why brick and mortar stores are closing. Don’t waste your time at this store. I would never buy from them again. So sad to see customer service levels like this from a reputable store.

Very frustrated after calling for an in home designer appointment. It took hours for a call back to ask what i needed, asked about what I wanted to buy. THAT IS WHY I CALLED!! I dont know and need help. I have 4 rooms they will miss getting credit for the purchase and I will design myself and shop elsewhere or online. They are snooty and I have been waiting 5 days for a designer that can come to me call me for appointment.

I have an urgency to order now!

I work in sales and if this is how they are handling me as a call in (lead) this is scary to think how many other opportunities they are losing.
