Several days ago we went to the University of Florida agricultural research Center in immokalee Florida. They had their annual open house and we got to tour the citrus gardens and other gardens over their big campus. We also went into a variety of the research labs where they were making presentations on what work they're doing. They also were giving 45 minute tours on trolleys driven pulled by a tractor that went into their citrus grows and other areas very very big planting area that they have for research. A very educational trip for the both of us.

The IFAS Agricultural Research Center often gives seminars and agricultural presentations to the ag industry and general public. About once a year a tour of the buildings, test citrus groves and farming activities is given for the public. The public can also call upon IFAS for agriculture related advice and printed material at any time.
