I stayed at Artemis for two months for an inpatient research study. All of the staff here are very kind, accommodating, caring, talkative. They only have a few rooms, but the rooms are pretty nice and comfortable. They come with a bed, dresser, nightstand, and TV in the room. The people here have a great system/routine which is nice. They let you go out often to the local stores, beaches, etc. and will even pay for the Uber/lyft for you to go. Obviously, there are certain rules and protocols you have to follow, but they are reasonable. I have no complaints. I had an amazing experience at Artemis and they pay well, too. It’s kinda like getting paid to be on vacation but you have to do some medical procedures while you’re there. The other research study programs I’ve done can’t even compare to Artemis. If you’re considering do a research study, I strongly recommend you go here.

The staff at Artemis Clinical Research in San Diego are pretty amazing, especially Dr. Chavez and Lerner. Outside of their control my lab results were delayed for a very long time. Lerner not only was extremely professional, he took personal interest in straightening out a complicated mess that he inherited as a new staff member. He pursued the resolution steadily and without hesitation. He kept me informed along he way. My family needs required extra problem solving regarding appointments. Lerner never blinked, took care of it all and considered it as part of his responsbilities. I appreciated the untiring, pleasant, caring demeanor of both Lerner and Dr. Chavez.

Lerner does a fantastic job at keeping me on track with my appointments. April is absolutely the best phlebotomist I've ever encountered. Rita is so friendly and patient with me. I had never participated in a clinical study before, and being my first study I did not know what to anticipate. However the staff and environment of this facility put me at ease. Every visit was very professional, clean rooms and very clear explanations. Lerner was my coordinator and he was the best, always available to answer questions, very prompt to respond to any concerns that I had along the way. If the opportunity arose for me to participate in another study, I’d happily accept. Great experience.

I’m frustrated volunteering for one of their studies I found on social media. Parking in their lot is crazy expensive and they didn’t tell me how long the initial appointment would take; (3 & 1/2 hours!) The staff seemed frazzled and confused. I was passed to six different staff for paperwork, review, a shot, & review. Staff called out names for the next volunteers who were already seeing other staff. Clearly some staff are over worked, tired, or not good at their job as I was asked about items (debit cards & apps) that previous staff were supposed to provide and never did. Contacting the office later for assistance is difficult; I left several messages during their work hours and never received a response. I’d suggest that one only get involved if you are retired, or have a lot of time and patience.

Very organized and friendly staff. My noon appointment was promptly acknowledged by the front office assistant. After filling out necessary paperwork, I was escorted by Kortney for the remainder of the study. The process was easy to follow and timely to say the least. Very satisfied and impressed with the organization of the staff that lead the study.

I participated in this clinical study because this is a serious disease and issue worldwide. I came to Artemis not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. First time to ever participate in a trial and the staff made it so smooth for me. Lerner has been amazing in taking care of me and sharing information to help me better understand what's going on. Natalie, Courtney, Trinity and everybody has been warm and easy to work with,
