Great little place. Staff was super friendly. Be aware that you use your phone to order or order at counter and then they bring the food to the table. Food came fast, they got us waters real quick. Food was great. Don't skip the bakery on the way out, cinnamon pecan rolls are to die for. A favorite when we are in town.

Scaturo’s is possibly the best breakfast restaurant within Door County. The meal proportions are huge and affordable. The food is delicious and I would claim that Scaturo’s has the best French toast I’ve ever had (I’m a french toast connoisseur). The atmosphere is very welcoming and enjoyable (I would recommend sitting in the back of the restaurant where you can find a cozy country atmosphere). The staff is great and they make you feel welcomed.
I would recommend this restaurant if you want to fuel up for a day on the peninsula!

When entering the restaurant/bakery, it was packed. But they have a system and it works for sure. I love how you can either order at your table or order at the counter. It definably goes faster without a waiter. The food was piping hot and came out so fast. I think we were there for 30 minutes tops, which is not a bad thing because the food was amazing and great portions. I ordered a cherry mimosa and the short stack with cherries and a side of bacon. My fiancé ordered the French toast with cherries and orange juice. The cherry mimosa was delish and the short stacks had a crispy outer crust and a soft middle. I have never had bacon cooked this perfectly at a restaurant and they nailed the whole order. The French toast was crispy and soft in the inside and honestly cooked perfectly. It really says something when the owner thinks something is wrong at our table because we couldn’t finish the meal. Overall great service, perfect system and great food.

Interesting diner with plenty to look forward to but with a few changes could be great. We stopped here while on a weekend getaway. The bakery had pretty amazing rolls and deserts. Everything seemed fresh and well made. Prices weren’t too bad either. The breakfast dishes were pretty notable as well. I had the meatball sandwich and it was just okay. Would come here again for breakfast for sure though. Two improvements I would recommend are table service and bigger bathrooms. It was a bit awkward to order at the front and understand how the process worked (including checking out). All and all close to a 5 star.

Wonderful small shop. The food selection is limited along with avaliable drinks but don't count that against it. We ordered a pizza called the Fat Tony. Not only did it come out to us in a impressive amount of time, the pizza was very tasty! The shining star of this establishment is the bakery. Wonderful selection of breads and other baked good. I would recommend coming here for the bakery alone.

Amazing vegetarian options. The atmosphere is amazing. All of the staff are very kind and friendly. The baked goods we have yet to try - but the fact that they fresh bake the rolls they make the sandwiches with - it reflects well. Delicious and worth the experience. Good to note: breakfast ends at noon, and lunch starts at 11 (weekdays). No exceptions! We’re going back for breakfast tomorrow for sure! *try their sangrias - tasty!!!
Update: baked goods are SO GOOD. When you’re in Door County you have to get cherry pie, and let me tell you - their pie is the BEST PIE I have EVER had. Fresh out of the oven, still hot, let it cool of course. I would never think to call a pie decadent, but man, this pie… amazing. Suggest pairing it with a little scoop of vanilla ice cream.
As mentioned before we wanted to go back for breakfast, and am I so glad we did. I had the thick cut French toast topped with cherries (of course), came with a little bit of whipped cream and side of maple syrup, yum. S.O. Got the farmers skillet which he stated was delicious. We shared the cheesy hash browns and they were just like my grandma makes ‘em. With lots of love and lots of cheese.
It’s amazing to have a bakery make fresh bread, fresh items daily, and use those items in their menu. We will be back!
If you’re in the area and you need a quick snack, a hearty meal or a delicious dessert- I highly recommend Scaturo’s. ❤️
