I visited my friend at Brooklyn College and it seemed like a really cool place. One thing that stood out is how diverse it is. You will meet people from all over the world. Plus, campus life is awesome, so if that's important to you, you'll love it. And let's be real, it's super affordable, which is a major bonus. Only downside I noticed was that the buildings could use a bit of a facelift.

My experience in this college was hell is wish I wouldn't have transfered here. 90% of professor don't care about you and they do not accommodate special situation . I was in a car accident and I wasn't understood or excused for it. The campus is dirty and often in bathrooms you will find incredibly big roaches. I didn't know roaches can fly until I saw one in the bathroom who scared the hell out of me. Stuff most of the time is very rude and can't tell you or explain you were to go if you need anything. Overall my college experience was hell and I'm thankful I'm transferring I rather do extra 12 miles with a peace of mind then struggle in here with a program that lowers your gpa and incompetent people around.

There's still no photo lab assistant, and we are more than one month into the semester. This makes photography classes useless. You can't develop your photos that are needed for your classes! We are told that we have to develop and print photos during our free time, but we can only do so while another class is in session due to the lack of a photo lab assistant. But if the class conflicts with what you're doing (processing or printing) then you won't be allowed to work. How is this acceptable? Students pay for a lab that we aren't allowed to use. And the whole college is so janky. Bathrooms are dirty and there are leaks everywhere non-stop. Shameful.

Beautiful campus and one of the oldest in Brooklyn. College has been renovated in the last two decades. It is very pleasant to walk around the beautiful campus. College has pipeline high school, which funnel students into 4 years of college.

Great school. Graduated with a BS in computer science and working in the tech field. Very great program and affordable. The library is amazing for studying. I understand there might be tough professors but choose wisely and do your research. I had an amazing time there.

Studied Accounting here. Great professors! Love the campus and the energy students have. Loved studying in the library, very quiet and the energy from the people around you help you concentrate. The library cafe need a lot of improvement in the study rooms, it's usually noise. Loved this school! The tuition is affordable and the level of education is very good.

Nice bit of civilization in an otherwise less civilized section of Brooklyn. Sprawling and verdant campus with several school halls featuring fine architecture. The college's policies are strictly yet equally enforced, which is admirable. I know of at least one alum who went on to a promising career in federal law enforcement... though I also know another alum who went on to a promising career in federal penitentiary, so the college's what you make of it at day's end.

The scenery is good, careful if you have pollen allergies or something. Just beware some professors may have heavy accents or a mind numbingly slow pace or rate, you will have to listen and be more attentive or at least have a good self study habit to pass. Most professors have a different course layout — some are exam heavy, others are focused on participation, Hw, or projects. I like the ones where its pretty even so you can recover if you have a bad exam score, which is pretty unlikely in this case cause Hw or self study assignments are given frequently so you should have a pretty good understanding of the material. Frequent assignments should be the norm ngl, helps with developing a don’t procrastinate or else attitude and helps learning. My calc prof the best.

At the time of writing, the cafeteria and the cafe library is mostly closed but you can still visit — no food though, you will have to get food from the food trucks visiting the college or the restaurants nearby. Some parts of the buildings could definitely do with some renovation i guess.
