My tire blew out this week and I was lucky enough to end up at Tires Unlimited. Fay did a great job explaining everything and got me in right away. It was also helpful to get an oil change and have everything checked out. I found my new mechanic for sure! What a great team and my concierge, Gunther, who made my wait time extra enjoyable.

The bane of my auto existence has been the TPM light which seems to be my personal curse. My old car I usually ignored it but this time, with a newer car and nice weather, it seemed prudent to check. I was away from home and in Port to pick up a friend and when we discovered one tire was seriously low and a nail puncture, it needed attention. A neighbor suggested Tires Unlimited and they got me in right away. They were extremely helpful, quoted a price and I left the car. Got a phone call and email report with photos of the problem. I wish I lived in Port as I would happily go back. A routine problem and it was handled with minimal fuss.

Recently came here for an emissions test. The man, Kasey, didn't bother with a greeting (despite my "hi, how are you?"), just "get out and leave it running". Didn't say a single word to me otherwise. Struggled with the machine and getting it plugged in for several minutes, then handed me the paper saying it failed because of a check engine light. I specified that the light didn't come on until he plugged in the machine... I watched that happen. I was dismissed with a too bad. I asked what code it was giving for this alleged error and was told I'd need an appointment for them to even check... 4 days later. Took it to my normal mechanic across town and was informed that there was nothing wrong with my car, the machine triggered the light. It took several extra minutes on the phone with WIDOT, but we got it sorted out. Because *there was nothing wrong with my car*. And got far better treatment. Tires Unlimited couldn't be bothered with treating me like a person or doing their jobs.

Work was quoted and done within timeframe that was given to me. Good customer service and little amenities/treats provided to show customer appreciation. Loved that. Always a reliable service for us over the years.

I had my car towed to the Port Washington location thinking my starter needed to be replaced. They called and said yes it did… for $500+. My brother in law said his neighbor could do it for the price of the part so we towed it to his place. We ordered the part, towed it and lo and behold the only thing wrong was it was missing the grounding wire. (We replaced the starter and tested it just to be sure) I went back to Tires Unlimited and asked how they determined it was a bad starter? The technician went out to my car, turned the key and the starter would not engage when trying to start, they said. That’s funny since there was no grounding wire. They did reimburse me for the diagnostic fee which I appreciate, however, I had recently spent $1800 on other repairs which I now highly suspect were not necessary. I will not go back there nor will I ever recommend this establishment.

I got a great deal on my tires, no waiting time. They got me right in and on schedule. Enjoyed the waiting room, very comfortable and nice to have a beverage too. I was in and out in no time. Great service.

They did a great job on both of pur cars. Had problems with tires and they took care of our problems. The tires weren't from them but wish they had been. Had to change my one appointment and they got me in.the next day. Waiting area is very nice also.
