The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, with easy access to everything I need and a short walk from home. The office space itself is modern, comfortable, and incredibly well-maintained, offering the perfect environment for productivity and creativity. The building’s historic charm combined with its updated amenities makes it a standout choice for anyone looking for a professional yet inspiring workspace.

Natalie is the absolute best—friendly, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. Whether it’s a quick question or a special request, she handles it with efficiency and care. I also appreciate the sense of community here; it’s a great place to network and connect with other professionals.

Beautiful historic building in downtown Phoenix. The first high rise. Expansive did a great job with the rehab. I have been here for about 4 years. They had some turnover issues with the building managers at the beginning, but for the last couple of years, we have been blessed with a Rockstar. Natalie is phenomenal. She throws awesome monthly networking events, quick to answer emails, or any issues. She is always making sure the building is being maintained and protected, including the exterior alleys as well. There is no parking attached, but tons of garages close by. Right off the light rail and centrally located in downtown phx. If you're looking for flex office space, this is your spot. I toured a couple of other buildings, but this was the one.

They have many spaces to rent. We chose a conference room that was helpful in having a white board and screen with connections we used to display our presentation from our laptops. The process and customer service were exceptional. I like easy! I will use this workspace rental again when visiting Phoenix with our team.

One of the greatest office buildings in the center of downtown to rent is the Heard building. truly amazing management! I really enjoy the monthly food and snack events! Natalie creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere in this building.!!!

I have to say this place is incredible. If you need infrastructure and a SOLID IT experience look no further than Expansive in DT phoenix.

Super awesome place. Maricia and Natalie are awesome. Got me setup the same day in a dedicated desk.

Things I really LOVE!!!

1. 24/7/365 access and their biometric storage rooms
2. Accessibility right in the heart of DT phx (tons of eating options)
3. Dedicated desk
4. Unlike Galvanize (where I used to be a member ), they actually have a proper isolated member WIRED and WIRELESS setup apparently using RADIUS and "username and passsword" authentication rather than a shared WPA2 password.
5. Member/IT requests are handled quickly and LOCALLY by the building manager and not "relayed" to a remote corporate IT team.
6. Expansive .. has way more locations than galvanize and OWN every building they are tenants of

I really liked Galvanize and the local staff and building was excellent but their new "woke" corporate structure now that publically traded K12/Stride in my opinion is really effecting the original entrepreneurial and community spirit of Galvanize. Local staff was excellent but their corporate (not local staff) is more concerned with "diversity" and pronouns rather than responding to IT tickets and quickly. This is really why I love expansive DT phoenix even more!

I know alot of my friends will be moving to expansive ..

This building is an amazing piece of history! My graduating class (2019) had our final senior exhibit here in May. The spaces that aren’t occupied with businesses yet are pretty sparse and industrial because the new owner gutted the entire building and got rid of the drop ceilings and gross carpet (yay!) They managed to save a lot of the original hexagon tiles on the floor which is amazing considering the building is literally 100 years old.

There are several murals on the different floors of this building painted by various artists.

The service elevator is kind of slow and sketch, and the flooring is a bit uneven because of the renovation.

Parking is easiest in the US Bank building around the corner.

Hosted a 2-day retreat here for my team and they absolutely loved the SmartSuite we were in. They raved about it in their reviews and felt that they had enough space. They also loved the sun patio for breaks.

I personally loved how friendly and customer-service oriented the Heard team was from the moment we were inquiring about their space to the day of event. They called me and were prompt in sending me photos to help me decide if it was the right space for my event. Day of, it was great to work with the community manager-- who allowed me to bring in supplies the day before so I wouldn't have to carry it morning of. She also helped me grab our catering orders and deliveries so that our retreat would not be disrupted. Best space I've ever booked for my team and it made our retreat a success!

Have been a medium sized tenant (about half a floor) for a little over two years now and thrilled with my experience overall. Natalie couldn't be a better building manager - so helpful, I feel like she's a member of the team half the time. I really benefit from knowing she's on my side.

IT support for our fairly complex security requirements and other facilities services have also been awesome. It really helps that the company owns the building and invests significantly in the community.

Love that the building is bike friendly and close to multiple forms of transit as well. Parking is kind of a pain but the building does have discounts available through local garages and Natalie does a great job making sure people are aware of them.
