This is a place where medical studies are conducted and most studies pay volunteers. Parking is limited but free. (It is associated with Advent Health.) The staff are friendly and helpful. The main level is where testing is done; such as blood draws, MRI, bone density, etc. There is an area upstairs that has rooms for volunteers who stay overnight. All meals are provided, and there are nurses on call all night. Each room is like a private hospital room with a bathroom attached and has a TV with cable. The study I participated in required that I stay 4 days and I was treated very well. Their website has information on studies that are enrolling, the requirements and what they pay.

Every staff member here has been great. But, you can't leave messages after hours – which is frustrating and odd.

You're already taking time out of your work day to be a part of the study for the appointments, now make sure you use your work hours to call and be put on hold as well.

I understand I volunteered for this, but it always seems needlessly difficult to talk to anyone here.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS RESEARCH COMPANY!! They are liars & do not communicate results with patients. I was told I would get a call after one week of screening, but never did. I called today only to be told by Natasha the research is full. That's a lie because the nurse & recruiter would've said that before scheduling my screening! The nurse & I even chose a meal plan for the study. These people are HORRIBLE WITH COMMUNICATION!

At first I felt like I wasn't getting the proper info but I guess it's because its a blind study. Lets see what happens. They treat you fairly nice and feed you good when you stay over.
