The Dec Network has been an outstanding experience for myself. The staff is extremely professional and resourceful and they are always willing to assist the entrepreneur in a fun atomosphere. Special thanks to Gabriela, Keeya and Cam for their preofessionalism and cutomer friendly attitude. The Dec Network always has programs and opportunities to help aid the entrepreneur in building their business.

As a member what I've noticed, that is most annoying, is how the leadership team, in my experience, promptly responds to emails and calls when money is involved, otherwise they are unavailable and appear to be rather unbothered.

For example, I booked an event and some contract issues occurred; therefore, it was escalated to the Director of events. We emailed back and forth for more than 6 hours to negotiate a comparable service. Overall, the event was a success, but the staff member scheduled to oversee the venue gaslighted and stonewalled me the entire evening. I guess she was still upset that her boss got involved. I digress on this matter.

On the contrary when I reached out to the same individual and other members of senior leadership about an issue regarding a membership conflict and safety concerns, crickets. Not a single response by phone or email and it has been 2 weeks.

As an Executive Project Manager I find most, if not all, the processes and systems at the DEC at Redbird broken and it lacks a solution focused team. However, I've witnessed quite a few occasions where the team seems to lack kindness and are defensive, almost annoyed with the members.

Host entrepreneurial workshops and has a fabulous line up for small businesses. The space has vending, social tables, coffee & beverages, and a great view of the dallas bridge.

Keeya is doing a great job with the facility. The building is nice and clean. I highly recommend for all business or event meetings. 5 stars all the way.

If you are an entrepreneur in Dallas, you want to check out the DEC. They have free access to great mentors who are there to offer advice, office space memberships for small businesses and freelancers, and put on events regularly. And they are right by the DART rail line which makes it easy to get to.

The DEC ambassador program is a volunteer opportunity they run annually that offers an opportunity for locals to get connected to the entrepreneurship leaders and groups in Dallas. I participated in the first class and it has been great for my career. Also, whenever I attend local events now, I always know someone.

Trey and the team at the DEC are truly something special. Every time I walk into the DEC, I'm happy to be there and know I will get to talk to movers and shakers who aren't afraid to put in the hard work to pursue great things.

Even though my DEC ambassador term is over, I still volunteer once a month and check people in at the Start Up Grind events. If you are new to the Dallas tech or entrepreneurship community, I highly recommend picking one of the recurring meetings they host as a way to get an idea what the place is about. 1 Million Cups is every Wed at 9am-10am and is a great intro to the community at large.

The DEC was an incredible place to office. Our nonprofit had a dedicated desk there for over a year and it was a great experience I would definitely recommend this co-working space to any startup or anyone who works from home that wants a change. Not only was the office space clean and a safe place to leave things overnight, but also the DEC staff went out of their way to help us whether it was hiring a new employee, looking for a new web developer or just needing someone to talk to on a long day they were constantly there to help encourage us and help us grow. We are sad to be relocating to another city or else we would work here out of here forever - Thank you DEC!

Whether you're just getting started or you're already running a significant organization, you'll find a community of like-minded, positive people at the DEC. And, as an entrepreneur, you'll be better off by spending time with them.

The space is beautiful. The people are fantastic. And the events are consistently great.
