I can provide an update to my review. My parents were residents for almost 10 years. I will say that while they were at Tollgate, the staff was very helpful and kind to my parents. My review is related to more of the company's "policy" regarding a 60 day notice to move out.
My mother had a health emergency in October of this year. As a result she was forced to move to an assisted living facility. Tollgates policy is that they have a 60 day notice regarding moving out.
In this case they enforced the policy without regard to the situation. I would have expected that they would have at least offered to find a new tenant for the apartment.
I would have understood that she was responsible for rent in the event that it was not possible to rent the unit. What i don't understand is getting another three thousand dollars out of an 87 year old while it sits empty.
Unfortunately Tollgate flushed away a decade of goodwill for 3000 dollars. I hope they make good use of it.

Fantastic community at Vintage Tollgate! Quiet and peaceful place to call home. Responsive maintenance staff who get things quickly repaired. Dropped one star based on a small bedroom closet and standard size washer and dryer in my unit. Other than that, I would recommend these apartments to anyone.

Don’t try to walk in and see an apartment without an appointment. You’ll have to register online and fill out a whole bunch of information and take a self-guided tour. Really no help at all. It’s easier to apply for a mortgage than it is to view one of their apartments.

The apartment is great, we love living here, however, our neighbor bangs on our wall and yells at us. We are older and our TV was a little loud until the office told us we were bothering him. We've tried our best to accomadate him. We moved our bedroom around as to not have the TV against his wall. Even though we try, he still bangs and yells. It's very disturbing. We hate feelling like a prisoner in our home. Please let us know what we can do. Thank you.

I have loved living at Vintage Tollgate for the past two years. Here are some of my favorite things about the apartments:

- Not only did I have a beautiful view, but as a single woman, I felt very safe with the added level of security of entering the apartment from inside a locked building rather than directly from outside.

- Surprisingly, it’s extremely quiet within the apartments. In the two years that I’ve lived there, I’ve only heard my neighbors a handful of times, and even then it was muffled.

- I loved having wood floors on an upper level--almost impossible to find, but such a nice bonus and allergy-friendly.

- As someone who practically lives in her kitchen, the gorgeous kitchen and all that extra cabinet space was such a blessing. They have genuinely spoiled me rotten with this!

- The gym is maintained and kept clean by the staff and the residents.

- Not long after I arrived at Tollgate, there was a complete overhaul of the staff. Amy and Emeline are AMAZING and have always made me feel valued as a resident, rather than just another number or tenant.

If I had to list one con for living there, it would be that the cost of living is a bit high. But, considering what you’re getting for your money (not to mention the fact that you’re about thirty seconds from the interstate and within walking distance of miles and miles of gorgeous walking trails), it has been more than worth it to me.

I loved living at Vintage Tollgate, but unfortunately towards the end of my time here, new management took over (July 2021) and the move out process was horrendous. We were sent incorrect bills and given inconsistent information regarding final payment and utilities. My full review was too long to include here and since I didn't want to leave out any details, I attached it as screenshots - feel free to read that if you want the tea. I'd be extremely careful living here given the new management company, and if you do decide to live here, get EVERYTHING in writing. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Me and my fiancé were looking for an apartment to live, and we are so excited to be moving here. Every process was made super easy by the property manager, filling out forms was super simple, overall it was a great experience!

We stayed at Tollgate through the Landing app while selling our home out of state and house hunting in Franklin. The staff was excellent and maintenance was very fast. Danae in the leasing office was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, and our unit was quiet, and there were lovely paths to walk the dog.

Overall, Tollgate was a great temporary home during our transition. Highly recommend!
