I am a traveling mural artist and I really enjoyed creating a big mural here, at The Hospitality Hub. I love what they’re doing here for the community, and I was happy to help beautify one of their walls. 😃✍🏻

There is a receptionist that should never ever work with the public! She is not prejudiced she hates all people. I have taken several people to get help and each time I think is this really the way we treat people living in awful situations already? It is clear why these people do not want to go for help because there is no help for them. Why are our tax dollars being spent for people to be treated so cruel?

The staff are very polite. They treat the people coming in to get help like human beings. They actually care. They had the warming center up and running but as of 1/22/2025 people are being told that the warming center will be closed from 12p-1p because it’s warming up. The lows are still going to be in the low 20s for the next almost week. In light of the fact that someone just died across the street because of the low temps it would be prudent to keep the warming center open. Update the warming center did reopen but only from either 9pm or 10pm and closed in the morning. On the morning of the 25 at 8 am it was closed indefinitely. For the last 2 nights people were asleep across the street trying not to free in very low temps. The night of the 26th it got down to 33 degrees. The reason given that they were not opening the warming station is because the temps would not be below freezing. Just doesn’t seem right but they do offer a lot of help outside of that.

I'm currently homeless undergoing chemotherapy for colon cancer I went in to see if they could help me with finding shelter I pretty much sold everything I owned to stay in motel to get off streets. I was told there wasn't anything that they could help me with no referrals or anything at the end of my rope that was my last hope
