Our AC went out in the hottest week yet… Hamstra came out and was our 3rd bid. They came on the 4th of July. We went with them because of the customer service and knowledge of the experienced install specialist who came out to discuss our options. He was not pushy and was very honest. Our unit was installed quickly, by two gentlemen who were also very knowledgeable; they were respectful of the property and worked quickly to install the new AC. When the job was done they sent someone out again to make sure we were satisfied! I would recommend Hamstra to anyone.

Our 18 year old a/c was leaking freon & we made the decision to replace our unit. Our neighbors recommended we get a quote from Hamstra due to their positive experience with them. John S. took a very consultative approach—asking lots of questions and not “selling”us, but educating us. His knowledge and experience of the HVAC industry & Tucson market was outstanding! He was with us every step of the way, ensuring that the new system corrected issues we had with our old system, that the installation crew was top- notch, and the final walk thru and inspection was completed to our satisfaction. They have our highest recommendation!

This company has a lot of integrity concerning their work and the satisfaction of their customers. They installed a new humidifier at our home, but there were a few problems, especially regarding our home elevator- which is immediately adjacent to the humidifier. This resulted in a need for Hamstra to make some quick- no charge - service calls which they willingly did; with no hassle to us. Problems can arise in any new installation, it’s how the installing company handles it that really makes the difference- this company was 5 stars!

Hamstra is professional from getting the estimate to completion. Mike, Elizabeth and Jesus are my experience very pleasant. I will have to highlight Jesus however. He was on time, courteous, got to work right away, and personable when time allowed. His work is excellent! Jesus is just the person you want to show up to do the job! Thank you Hamstra for getting out quickly to install our new system and get the AC working in our home again! Not only did you do that but while we waited for the install you came out and brought us portable units to use so we were not completely without air those 5 days till he technicians could get the new unit installed. Every individual that I talked to at Hamstra was amazing. Ryan went above and beyond for us and Robert and David, the technicians that came and did the install for us were just as amazing and worked extremely hard to get the job done in a timely manner! Thank you all for being so amazing!

Fast coordinated service with quick access to replacement parts.
Had the 3/4A internal Blower Motor go out on a 15 year old 4-ton Trane single-package electric heat pump. Too much delay waiting on another company to find the part. Called Hamstra and they sent someone out (Caden) same afternoon and coordinated the part delivered by another service member at the same time!
After verifying the motor was indeed bad, swapped it out, while also cleaning the mold off the housing. Tested all functions, including condenser pressures, temperature differentials, outside fan motor, etc. and all's well for several more years. Yay, the house was finally cooling down!
Caden was very knowledgeable and provided explanations of each step along the way, letting me watch his work and see the test results. He was easy to work with and very helpful.
Overall, very happy with Hamstra and would recommend them highly!

Hamstra is wonderful! They installed my heat pump in 2023 and it’s worked like a dream. They just conducted the second service call and they could not have been more effecient and professional. They called in advance to let me know when they’d arrive..they called when they were on their way and I received the service report. Immediately after their visit. Excellent service! I will highly recommend them to my friends and family.
