The guys at StratusGrid evaluated our office network as part of our recent office remodel. They pointed out several ways to improve performance, reliability, and network security as well as expand our remote working capabilities. We got a GREAT deal on all the equipment we needed!

The manager helped inform some design choices of our furniture for the remodel and they even installed a wireless charger for the employees at the front desk FOR FREE while they were doing the network installation. They kept us informed throughout the process, identified an electrical problem that could have been unsafe for our employees and the technician stayed late, working by flashlight, to fabricate a custom mount for some of our unique equipment.

They've always been persistent, thorough and patient, even with less technical employees. We would definitely use them again.

As Director of Interactive, we engaged with StratusGrid to deploy some client workloads in the cloud. This was the first foray into the cloud for the company at that time and what a learning experience it was! The team at StratusGrid guided us the entire way toward best practices, effective monitoring, and their customer service was top notch. I know for a fact that we were not their largest client, but that didn't show one bit in the way they treated us. I left the company that engaged with StratusGrid but I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them again for future projects.

Catastrophic Consequences! My experience with this company led to a catastrophic event that has impacted my business for years! My law firm was hit with a ransomware attack in Fall 2020. This was crippling by itself; however, it took on a whole new dimension because StratusGrid failed to properly backup my server. In fact, an employee had admittedly disabled the backup to troubleshoot a perceived issue with my server and failed to enable it when he finished the task. I also learned that the system was set up and configured incorrectly which had left our server vulnerable to the criminal attack. When there was no backup in place, the firm suffered a complete and total loss of 11 MONTHS of highly sensitive data and irretrievable work product. The company made an internal attempt to reverse the damage and restore the files, but when that failed, they did NOTHING to remedy the issue despite their negligence. Instead of assuming the task themselves, they advised me to hire a special firm whose services started at $10,000. StratusGrid offered no other help, monetary or otherwise. This event was preceded by months of failures on their part to resolve an issue that was fixed overnight by the next IT company. This was after almost 9 months of strife and payments to StratusGrid to fix remote access issues that plagued the firm during the first year of the pandemic. Instead of owning the mistakes of their employee who had been honest and admitted to his errors, the owners tried to shirk responsibility by blaming me for not following a suggestion to move some of my firm software to a cloud-based system. I later learned from the software company that no such cloud-based product existed. This event brought my firm to a standstill for months and has created years of lost time, energy and money, not a penny of which StratusGrid covered. I would not trust this company to handle any aspect of your IT matters, personal or business. They couldn’t do something as basic as backing up files and do not possess the integrity to own their mistakes and make things right by their customers.
