Thank you for a job well done!!! Without the study of the bodies that are donated many families would not have the closure of their loved ones death and with that I’m thankful for the hard work of the staff and for those who have sacrificed their bodies for science and to the families that have had to wait months or even years to bury their loved ones!

The Halloween "haunted forest of the body farm" was amazing. I found a coupon in the newspaper. I deducted one star because I was a little creeped out when I recognized one of the props as my mother who had died and given her body to UofT six months earlier... mom was positioned such that she had been tied to a tree and beaten to death. I know she would be happy and proud to have known CSI teams could learn something. All in all a great Halloween experience and proceeds from the haunted forest goto help pay for the volleyball team's uniforms.

Dr Bass should Try composting some bodies. Gov. Jay Inslee of Washington State. signed legislation making Washington the first state to approve composting as an alternative to burying or cremating human remains.
