Not only can you not call the office directly, they lose important documents that you mailed, warn you 3 days before they’re due that they never got them (letter received Wednesday afternoon, paperwork due on Monday), and then they close for Lincoln’s birthday on Friday with no warning on post on their webpage. Do you actually want to help people that work? I took off time from work to rush across town as I couldn’t get through your laughable phone system and you have a hastily taped printer paper to your window stating “Closed for Lincoln’s Birthday”. Not only it is highly dubious that any of your wonderful employees even know who Lincoln was, perhaps some warning?!? Maybe TRY to work with people that are working as well so we aren’t forced to use this system?!?

Extremely frustrating. They make it very difficult to do anything or speak to someone. Changes need to be reported within 10 business days. I attempted to do this online knowing good and well that I will not have success over the phone. But they need to send you a PIN number in the mail before you can do anything online. It can take 10 business days to receive the pin %! Really? So I call with of course waiting on hold for 30 minutes to get someone to transfer me someone else who then puts me on hold and then disconnects. I call back and no one is available and the recording says to call
Back another time. You would think that someone who works there would realize that their system is flawed.

The woman at the counter is great and helpful. But it’s ridiculous that there’s not a facility number on here instead of the 800 number. I spent 4 1/2 hours on the phone, 3 1/2 hours of which were on hold.

This is a joke and extremely frustrating! I've been dealing with them for 4 months trying to straighten stuff out and each time have been told it has been taken care of which is absolutely not the case!! This whole system is supposed to help people and it obviously is doing the exact opposite judging but all of these awful reviews! Wish I could give this a negative start rating!!

How can they lose an application when it was physically handed to them and they are saying that I never applied.. you can't ever get a hold of someone. My application was turned in on time. They really need to get it together i was not able to have an Easter dinner for my family because of their mess up

Almost always have to call twice. I wait for my call back and then I get to speak to someone then I get transfered. I get asked to do another call back. Ugh. Waiting is way to long usually at least an hour everytime. Several times I would get disconnected and never hear a call back. Very unreliable!

I love how your on hold forever only to be told that you make too much money to get help. They do not count rent and utilities. I would love for them to survive off what I have to as a single mom!

Every time I call I get a message about a number to call and wouldn't you know it, it's the same dang number I called. Then they tell me to call between certain hours, and again I get the same message. Then after the message they disconnect you. How is someone supposed to seek assistance if they won't help? Thanks again for the help government.
