I have been at Solarity for almost 6 years. It has been, and continues to be, a wonderful place of employment! They support a healthy work/life balance, leadership frequently asks for feedback and applies it to processes, and I have experienced many opportunities for growth and promotions. It is a fun place to work, where the people really do make the difference. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because their benefits could be improved, but I know they are working toward this.

Since our implementation of using Solarity, it has provided our providers and our patients pretty much immediate access to scanned documents. Their OCR technology is definitely the way of the future and has greatly reduced the former manual entry, unneeded messages to our busy providers, and the constant delays in getting document images indexed.

Solarity has modernized the Medical Record responsibilities of yesterday, to a technological solution of these changing times.

Overall this is a great place to work if you can grasp the concepts and software used. Starts out well above minimum wage however certain expectations are held given you are dealing with patients medical records. Having worked here over 4 years I've seen the company change drastically and for the better. Everything from training to software to even the way sites are maintained have all improved over that span.

Rochester Regional Health has had a longstanding partnership with Solarity to provide indexing services. As a large system with multiple sites, Solarity has provided us with a centralized process to consistently index our paper documents with quick turn-around times. This partnership has allowed us to be certified as a HIMSS Stage 7 organization.
