This is specific to the CYS office and system, not the daycare itself. The form for applying or to get on the waitlist is misleading. Don’t put your date of care needed, put the baby’s due date or 4-6 mo before you’ll need care. My son has been on the waitlist since before he was born (~6 mo now). We put date of care needed as end of maternity leave and that was a big mistake. We were told they don’t actually start looking at them until the month before care needed. So the first 4 months he was on the list was basically pointless The whole system is a racket.

The daycares on Fort Lenoardwood are disgusting. You have diseases there such as ringworm, Influenza strep throat, covid 19 and RSV. Who is deep cleaning and disinfecting these places especially buildings 615 and 408. The contractors are doing a very poor job, especially the evening shift, someone in authority needs to come by and check on them, they are not deep cleaning places when contaigous illnesses are in them. 470 is filthy, over flowing trash in the I.d card facility, filthy glass doors and windows, come on, someone clean them please!! babies and small children not to mention the caregivers in the daycares are being left to be and work in unsanitary conditions. The Fort is a disgrace.!

Honestly, I almost never leave negative reviews, but this one is needed since it involves families and children.
For being a service that is meant to provide services for the military child, they sure are lacking in professionalism. I had one FCC provider quit on me unexpectedly, the provider gave me the # to their boss/coordinator so I reached out to her, her name is Sara Hendricks, who not only never returned my calls when she wasn't in office, but when I finally got in touch with her, she was rude and unprofessional, and never followed up with me after our call like she said she would in helping me find a replacement.
I had to reach out to other FCC providers on my own. After being with another provider for 2 weeks, I was informed that Sara shut down this new provider's daycare, for whatever reason, I am not sure. But was informed that Sara didn't know my son was in this daycare, but I thought it was her job to know these things. I did everything on my end to keep a professional relationship with this organization but if you can find good, reliable childcare off post, you are going to have much better luck doing that.
We also plan on filing an ICE complaint, so please read reviews before choosing services for your children.
Good luck!
