If I could give zero stars, I would. This internet provider is completely unreliable. Outages happen far too often, and when they do, communication is almost nonexistent until customers start complaining. The recent outage in St. Robert, MO, is just another example of their poor service.

The response time was unacceptable—it took hours before they even acknowledged the issue, leaving customers without any updates. Businesses, remote workers, and families depend on stable internet, yet this provider continues to fail.

Customer service is just as frustrating. I was told a discount would be applied to my account due to the outage, yet that never happened. This company has no problem charging full price for inconsistent service but won’t follow through on their own promises. Long wait times, unhelpful representatives, and a complete lack of accountability make the experience even worse.

We pay for a service that is supposed to be reliable, yet we get frequent outages, poor communication, and broken promises instead. If you have other options, avoid this provider at all costs!

Internet has been down for 24 hours, and will likely continue to be for several more. Customer support left me on hold and my landlord never got a response to her email. From what I could find, no public statement has been made about the outage. Take your money to a better ISP, this is one of the worst I've seen.
Edit: This outage proceeded to go on for about 50 hours.

0 stars. Trashy internet service, overpriced. Every time we schedule to have tech come "fix it" IT GETS WORSE. I couldn't watch Moana 2 with my daughter without it buffering and shutting down twice. Then, after tech came, we can't watch 1 episode of a kids show (10-15 minutes long) without the internet buffering and shutting down THREE times. Save yourself the trouble and buy Elon Musk's Starlink internet. Don't bother with Sparklight.

Internet is spotty at best. Customer service/technical support has no clue when if ever it will be fixed. We had to set up a hot spot with our phone to make sure that my wife could stay connected for her online classes and there are times that even Netflix isn't able to be streamed. All this has been happening for a couple of months and my patience is pretty much gone with the whole thing. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I love the response as it implies that somehow I wouldn't have thought of calling tech support and have not done so on multiple occasions about the same problem. I guess it may just be that there is a magical switch that they can throw for your service to work once you've complained enough or something. It's pretty much a joke but sure let me waste some more time with another call.

I’ve had this company since the end of 2020 and it was very good up until recently when it changed to “sparklight”. Their service is horrible and their customer service is almost always unreachable. I spent almost two weeks calling every day without being able to reach anyone and being on hold for hours and hours. Once I spoke to someone they scheduled for someone to come out and set up a date, said between 8am & 12pm and no one showed up. I called after 12 and they said they still had someone scheduled to show up & when I pointed out it was passed the time they set they said all they could do was reschedule. Finally two weeks later someone showed up and said that the company changed their the products that support the service so we had to buy a new router/modem (which no one had informed us about) And even with that upgrade the internet still constantly goes out. As of right now the WiFi has been out for nearly 24 hours and no one knows when it’ll be working again. They charge the same monthly amount even though we’re getting MAYBE have the month of the service we’re paying for. It’s ridiculous! I’m looking into purchasing service from another company because at this point, this company is just stealing money without providing the service they are getting paid to provide!!

None of the speeds were anything close to what they advertise and you pay for. Had for about a year since it was the only option in town. Internet went out probably once a week or more for the whole neighborhood. Constantly disconnecting from online games. When I canceled service and turned in my equipment, they told me I was good to go and didn't owe anything. Then a few months later they started calling saying I still owed $62. Absolutely terrible company

This is the worst Internet and customer service I have ever experienced in living in more than 10 states. I pay for the fastest Internet connection yet they’re always outages and when you call to talk to someone, you have to wait an inordinate amount of time to get a person on the line otherwise you get their message service and have to waitfor up to 40 people to talk to somebody. I work from home a great deal of the time and I have to depend on good Internet service even after this company sold to spark light I’m still getting the same crappy service and higher bills.

Several outages recently- is there not a way to report the issue after hours (to your specific residence?) From what I remembered, you could do that on the website before? Really hoping these upgrades will be helping more in the future, than they have been so far.

Was on hold for 23 min (understandable with the amount of outages in the area?) but after 23 min a prompt came about that gave me the option to have someone call me back after the 25 people it says we're ahead of me in the line.
