This is a place for the children not only in the neighborhood but other areas close by. The staff there are nice and resources are abundant. The case works are very helpful and eager to help all who walk in the door. I did not get the opportunity to see the staff with the children but I am told they are under new leadership and as eager as the case workers to work with the children soon, as an after school resource, complete with activities and homework assistance.

Perfect addition to my old neighborhood. This center helps so much, they have after school programs for kids, and they give out food throughout the week for families who simply need it. They are doing so much good, and deserve so much more acknowledgement.

I frequent this site often and they're always busy with youth programs. Whether it's summer camp, STL Youth Jobs, coding camps, or any other activity, it's clear that this organization was created to keep the youth occupied with new activities for them to learn and socially grow into a greater version of themselves.

I tell you the more I deal with them less I like them so let me tell you about the Easter egg hunt it was fine I guess for hunt go but tell me this why was the only prize blow up toys. I mean every kid should have got one of those why did you have to get the golden egg for that. For the golden egg they should have gave away something good and they had all this cheesy candy no good candy and then on top of that they want you to give the eggs back when you took the candy out. Now for the adult hunt I heard they gave away great prices for that.

The EMPOWERMENT CENTER has been instrumental in helping me change my life ! Especially the URBAN LEAGUE'S S.O.S program . With professional and personal courtesy they have personally assisted and continue to improve and empower the ST.L community ; spiritually , educationally and economically!
