The Job Corps program is the best kept secret of the nation. Allowing youth to better themselves and find a training that will bring them a living is the the most amazing thing. Love the staff members but especially love the students! I take pride in being Job Corps’ #1 fan!

I completed my HS diploma course and was full time in CNA trade when I left, I didnt complete my cna so now they are saying I was never in trade and I didnt recieve my diploma. Cant find my full records at the office either so its prevented me from getting a great job. anyone whos attended knows you have to be 1/2 completed in high school to even select from a trade and then you can do 1/2 trade and 1/2 high school until you finish HS, then your full time trade.

This place is practically a charity.
Free food, free shelter, free education. This place has it all.

I am currently enrolled here as a student and am immensely grateful for the opportunities I'm presented here.

The staff are helpful and for the most part the students are friendly. Unfortunately there are students here that take such opportunities for granted and will talk this place down and make your time here more difficult. But keep your focus and work towards your goal and you WILL succeed!

I graduated from here many years ago. It was a great experience. I had a lot of fun! I appreciate the opportunity. I was 16 and VERY FOCUSED, since I had dropped out of high school in 9th grade at 14. By the time I was 16 life itself had set me straight enough to want to graduate and I appreciate this school because I was able to graduate even before my class. I got my GED after 2 months of living here and I continued on for 4 more months- in a total of 6 months I got my GED, HSD and a Certificate of Business office technologies. For HSD I just needed one more class that wasn’t included in GED it was language arts, I believe. It went so well. I will never forget Officer Dickey 🥹 and my PE/Softball Coach Jenkins.

It's not that bad people are so ungrateful I haven't finished my trade yet but so far they gave Me several certifications for free that I wouldn't of got otherwise. And a place to stay so I'm not on the streets. Also the food is honestly not that bad and they take us on field trips every weekend and there actually fun places. Just don't come here expecting to fall in love. It's not love island

This place honestly, has its good and bads. First, let’s start with the AC and heat are absolutely awful in the buildings, Cafeteria ceiling leaks, and the Rec building has a giant crack in it. Us students were told that we are not allowed to access that part of the building because it is unsafe. I’m surprised the Rec building hasn’t been Close down for for repairs. A lot of the staff here definitely pick favorites, and the cafeteria food is extremely bad. There have been days where I haven’t been able to tell what’s on my plate. in the lack of communication, The Communication here is absolutely awful…. Now the good sides are there are staff here that absolutely do care about their students. I took the culinary program and let me tell you these two chefs were amazing. they took the time to understand each students needs and helped students improved on multiple skills.. they help me build my confidence as a chef…

As a student back from 2017. It's an okay place. I do recommend that if you are struggling this is a place to go, meaning if you can't get a GED or if you want to learn a trade but don't know how job corps is the way to go. Made a lot of friends when I was there. Staff was okay back then, don't know about now (that's my opinion). I took culinary arts. Helped me own my own business.
