Shelby county schools is the worst school district that ever existed. I was wondering why my kids keep getting sick at school and to find the try to fine parents $2500. Every week I send my kids to school they come home vomiting, sick with a cold, or pink eye. Then my son is two grades below reading level but before he started school, thanks to me, he was two grades above reading level. Y'all are pitiful. If y'all think you're getting money from me because y'all are underfunded YOU'RE NOT! Y'all should be ashamed to care more about getting paid rather a child's health. This school district should be shut down.

I have a complaint I’m trying to understand why you allow schools to hold students until 4:15 like people ain’t got work or something. And than they’re not allowed to stay on campus to wait on their parents which is even worse and it endangers students.

I have called multiple times. Each time on hold for 30+ minutes. When someone finally answered, they transferred me to someone else who also didn't answer. Which resulted in multiple 40 minute wait times until the first lady decides to answer again.

I’ve tried to call the bd of edu for 3 days.... tried every option offered, and only get busy signals or hang ups...calling at least 8 times daily and no positive results

Went thought a program in with the scs ms.carter was in charge and i wouldnt recommend going through that program at all!!!!
