Ive been waiting to hear from financial aid since the beginning of January. For them to call me back February 2. They call me on sunday and of course I wasnt expecting a call. So i didn't have my A number ready to go for them. To hear her to huff and puff after and mumble under her breath like that was an inconvenience. Tell me why I don't reach financial aid requirements because I'm only taking one class per semester because it work with my work schedule. 🙃 maybe they need to work on responding accordingly to the students and not be rude.

Not even a student yet, but I don’t think I’ll ever be because communication is terrible. I’m told to be expecting an email in a couple weeks and “should” have gotten an email in my personal email instead of my school email, but I still have to do placement testing. That doesn’t sound very informed before “informing” me the “potential” student. A couple more weeks wasted.

The Manager of enrollment services, Dr. Shaine Requadt and DSO for international students Ms Tonji Siegel is extremely helpful. They are the only reason i joined meramec campus.
I always wish them the best.

The academic advisory don't listen to what you want. I ended up severely depressed and dropping out. The path they kept shoving down my throat wasn't what I wanted from the beginning.

The art department is wonderful. I took a few other classes such as science, math, English etc and I feel every department is great, especially for the price.
Financial aid department isn’t always the most friendly but you will get everything sorted and get your answers. I also recommend talking with different advisors, they aren’t all knowledgeable on what’s required but there are documents online that outline each degree.

If you wanna be treated like a middle schooler with the added bonus of paying with your own money for classes with some high school drama as a cherry on top, this is the place for you! No library, no cafeteria, revolving door staffing, and disrespectful admin but still somehow full price tuition. Beats me how they have as many good reviews as they do.

You get what you put into it. I’ve had some great instructors at Stlcc and I’m thankful it’s affordable and they offer so many different programs.

I'm wrapping up my associates soon. Meramec is a pretty good college. Advisors are ok, very hit and miss but my advisor was great. Admissions people were not as great. Financial aid is good. Professors are 80% good and 20% bad. The bad ones are REALLY bad and drag down your experience here. Use "rate my professor" or talk to other students to find the good professors. I had a class with a professor that told us he hated his job and we could tell because that class was hell. I doubt many universities are any better because every place has at least a few bad professors. Do your research, advocate for yourself, sign up for good courses, and you will do great and save a ton of money.
