Man this place is much better than a regular smoke shop. Friendly staff. A nice wide variety of products to choose from. Definitely stop by if you in the area. It's also good to see professional young people running their own enterprise.

They used to be cool until they started changing everything. Can’t use your card, can’t shop unless it’s more than an eighth, hell you can’t even get into the store without having to be buzzed in now. They would have never had the success they have now if they did all this when they first opened up. Hire more trustworthy staff, it’s not our fault.

This establishment is not 24 hours like they say they are. Showed up a little before 6 and the door was locked, waited until 6. Still locked. Update your correct store hours if you want to fully satisfy your customers.

The bells jingle as I push open the door to Exotic Smokes, and a wave of bittersweet nostalgia hits me like a punch. It smells of incense, clove, and a hint of old, lingering tobacco—scents that tug at memories I’d rather forget. The shelves are lined with pipes, bongs, and rolling papers, each piece a reminder of some past life where hope was as plentiful as smoke.

I nod at the guy behind the counter, a kid too young to know the weight of the stories in a place like this. His friendly smile falters when he meets my gaze, like he can sense I’m carrying something heavier than just memories. He goes back to talking with another customer, showing off some rare glass piece, oblivious to the ache hanging over me.

I wander the aisles aimlessly, pretending to look at the intricate glass and wooden pipes. My hand grazes a bong shaped like an octopus, its glass arms twisting with a rainbow sheen. It’s tagged, The Kraken. A ghost of a smile tugs at my lips. I remember when my girl and I came in here last, laughing about that very bong, talking big dreams we had no idea how to reach.

My mind drifts to her—fading away, inch by inch, even as I try to hold onto her with all I have left. I can’t help but feel like I’m failing her, like every day brings us closer to a goodbye I’m not ready for. I can still hear her laugh, see the way her eyes would light up when she’d spot some quirky piece in here. The memories sting, like a wound I keep reopening because I can’t let go.

An older man shuffles up beside me, his eyes landing on The Kraken. “You know,” he says, voice quiet, “I had one just like that… back in the day. Times were simpler then.” He doesn’t know, but the words settle heavily in the silence between us. He tells me stories about long-gone friends and hazy nights, but I can barely hear him over the ache in my chest.

Eventually, he pats my shoulder and says, “Things fade, but memories… they’re tricky. They’ll stay with you.”

I nod, barely managing to hold myself together. When I step outside, the harsh daylight stings my eyes, but I don’t look back. I can’t bear to. In that tiny shop, I left pieces of my past, echoes of a future that never came to be. And as I walk away, I realize that, sometimes, the hardest thing isn’t letting go—it’s finding a way to keep moving when every step feels like a loss.

Wow, this place is mind blowing!! Literally!!
I never knew about this place until I googled and got directions. They have it all and open 24 hours, so amazing. They are very knowledgeable about the products. Prices are very cool. Very nice staff, come get at Patrick, Julio, Logan, Dejah,@ Exotic Smoke!!!
