I moved from another state and needed a new rheumatologist so I was told about this practice. When I first called this office the receptionist was not helpful or professional I could barely hear her on the phone. She never tried to adjust the phone she just kept repeating the same thing. It may be bc she had the phone on speaker. Not sure why she didn’t just pick up the receiver if so. But I proceeded to schedule the appointment bc I needed to be seen. They scheduled me with Nicole Kieffer. I went in saw Nicole and was supposed to get a call for a follow up 4-6 weeks later. Never got a call. I called to see what happened and was told N Kieffer was no longer at the practice. I asked why I was never informed of this and the receptionist said “oh everyone was called” and that’s it. No apology no explanation, nothing.
She proceeded to schedule me with someone when I asked that appointment wasn’t for another 6 weeks. I asked is there another doctor I could possibly get in with sooner and before I could finish my question the girl responded “ that’s the soonest”. The receptionist said her name was Alexandra. They need to get someone who is knowledgeable, professional and knows how to properly handle calls and inquiries from patients. I wouldn’t recommend this place based off her and the lack of helpfulness, communication or accountability. I thought from the first call I made maybe the girl was having a bad day so gave it the benefit of the doubt but my second and third calls were the same so I see that’s just her.

I just called the office for assistance with a prescription refill and I just had to post a review. That was one of the best experiences I have had with a doctors office staff to date. Jose was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was super polite and got my issue resolved quickly. I am so grateful for Dr. T, as she is the doctor that has FINALLY diagnosed my issue after years of chronic pain. I finally feel better!

I have gone and interacted with most every staff member and they are all so friendly and professional. Every physician there is amazing. Dr. M. Ty-Arias, Dr. P. Castillo, Dr. C. Campbell and Dr. Singhal. They all listen and help you understand. PASSION and COMPASSION - it's all here in this office.

I'm doing a case study with Southwest rheumatology for rheumatology it pays $65 or $75 but you get experimental medicine or the case study I'm in you get already FDA approved medicine so but the doctors and nurses are really nice their patient doing the case study they'll pay for an Uber to bring it to the office to and from and they pay you right in an air with a check but the best thing is they give you medication that will help you with your aches and pains and or injections into the joints. They're right here in mesquite off of i-30 just west of Northwest drive. It's a blessing to have them there a research group as well so anyone looking for someone to check them out

PÉSIMA ATENCIÓN
No sabía nada sobre como iniciar mi control médico en este país mi médico de cabecera me refirió con este centro médico inicialmente fui atendida por el Dr.Castillo pésima atencion solo por video llamada en el tiempo de la Pandemia jamás me habian reducido los esteroides a 4mg y tuve por primera vez un rebrote de Lupus tuve muchas complicaciones ahora tengo un leve daño renal, en mi pais pobre y subdesarrollado recibí mejor atención y me mantuvieron controlada de mi Lupus, actualmente tengo otra Dra. asignada pero es tan decadente la atención en este lugar que perfectamente me agendan citas médicas, me las cancelan, me las reagendan y ni siquiera me ordena los exámenes de rutina para saber si hay actividad Lupica como son :
-Hemograma general
-Prueba de anticuerpos fosfolípidos
-Prueba de anticuerpos antinucleares
-Examen general de orina
Y encima de esto no ordenan el refill de tu medicamento hasta que te hagas presente a tu cita medica la misma en la que el médico te atenderá,sin tener los previos resultados de tus análisis de laboratorio INCREIBLE actualmente desconozco cual es el estado de mi Lupus, se entiende que los medico ofrecen consulta medica de Lunes a Jueves el día viernes se encuentra el personal de enfermería y he llamado para solicitar la prescripción de algún medicamento y/o solicita una cita medica me encontré con el desafortunado evento que el enfermero finalizaba la llamada sin permitirme explicar el motivo de la lllamada, si el personal medico esta sobrecargado de trabajo no es problema de los pacientes mas bien es problema interno otra razón sobre mi comentario es porque el día de hoy 03/05/25 tenía reagendada una cita médica 2:30pm no pude terminar con mi tarea laboral y llame para notificar que tuve un retrazo me hicieron saber que yo era la última cita de la Dra. y que tenía que reagendar en otros centros médicos le otorgan al paciente al menos 15 minutos de llegada tarde, me cansé de este lugar con la larga lista médicos que me otorga mi aseguranza ya encontraré una mejor opción.
"Es este ruin sistema de salud, no les importan los pacientes, ni estabilizarles ni solucionar las diferentes dolencias la prioridad es el importe que se le cargará a la aseguranza y los co-pagos que deben realizar los pacientes "
