My stay was wonderful. All the staff were. More than friendly. Everyone always had smile and ecknowledge me whenever or wherever they saw me, whether it was in the therapy room or in the halls. I loved all the therapists, nurses, þhe techs. The kitchen people were exceptionally friendly also.. I have no complaints. I loved being there.

My mom is currently at Ignite and will be discharging Thursday. The place is clean. The nurses are friendly and helpful. The desks girls are welcoming. The casework was super helpful and nice. My only problem with the facility is my mom is on one medication that is super important for her to have and they wouldn’t approve it because of cost. However I was allowed to bring it from home for them to administer. If mom ever needs rehab again this is where I’d want her to be.

My mom was here for 2 weeks for rehab. The therapists were all awesome. Jillian was the best CNA and you could tell she truly liked her job. The facility was clean. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. The only issue was medication was not dispensed properly numerous times and sometimes morning meds would not arrive until 10:30 am. Also make sure and check your meds given at discharge before you leave as there was an error there also that was not caught until we were at home without the meds needed on day 2. There is one nurse (Heather) if you question her about medications she gets a little nasty with you. It would be nice if therapy was available on the weekends but basically everything shuts down on the weekends. The place has a lot of potential if they can fix the medication dispensing issues.

I have repeatedly requested to return to this facility since each time I return I find caring, knowledgeable nurses and doctors, and skilled therapists who repeatedly bring my body back to a functional state. While there I love engaging in the daily planned activities, and socializing with fellow patients.

Was here for 5 days. The only complaints I have is the food is terrible. The breakfast was manageable, so I ate a big breakfast and had someone bring me lunch/dinner. You have no where for your guests to sit. I had 2 folding chairs brought from home. The mattress on the bed is terrible. I slept in the recliner which was just a little better. Only two staff complaints. My first night there the CNA told me I would be there for 30 days because Ignite wanted my money. I thought that was interesting. The first student doctor that came in to see me was very aggressive in his behavior. I asked him why didn't he smile. He backed down after I asked him that question. All the other staff I had interactions with was great. The nurses, the main doctor that saw me when he brought his student student doctors in was good, hospitality was good although they didn't remember to come and get me for bingo. Physical therapy was good and so was housekeeping. All in all it was an okay experience for what I needed. But family when you place your loved ones in these facilities, PLEASE GO SEE THEM AND BE INVOLVED WITH THEIR CARE. I'll just leave it at that.

I was confined here for four weeks after major orthopedic surgery during which time I was in a wheel chair and pretty much dependent on others for my basic needs and for therapeutic services to restore my health and abilities.
The staff at Ignite of Blue Springs, including the administrators and social workers, the nurses and aids, the physical and occupational therapists, food service workers, and housekeepers, were dedicated and compassionate professionals, and the positive culture of this organization was just tremendous during my time of difficult circumstances.
If I were to ever face such a situation again, I would reach out to Ignite Blue Springs, be it for myself or a loved one.
Highly recommended.

Entered Ignite after leaving the Hospital due to need for additional rehabilitation and intravenous medication being required. Ignite did a fine job meeting those needs. Only complaints were about the food. Gives Poor Hospital Food a GOOD name. Luckily food services deliver. Medical needs were met. The Food Service worker who took my order every day was VERY nice and did a good job of offering helpful suggestions when ordering to make the best of a bad situation. Thank you Kevin/Kyle, sorry I could not remember your name!

The facility is very clean and organized. I loved all the staff. Julie was a big help with all my nursing requirements. The whole staff OT PT. Dietary Etc are caring and understanding. If you or a love one need rehab I recommend this facility 100 percent
